and I was really sick and my Guide wanted to take me to the hospital. I don't want to go to the hospital and my Guide went to bring a Doctor to my room and after an hour or so he returned with a Nurse. The Nurse had got instructions from the Doctor. I got some tablets and we will hope that I will feel better soon.
I was spending the day in my bed and I decided to try my luck and I went out to sit on the porch. My Guide and Driver came by and we decided to go have lunch and then we would go back to the Borana Lodge. There were a lot of birds yesterday and we had to leave early because I was sick. I was feeling a little bit better so I decided to give the birding a try.
We drove south and we left the paved road at the same place we had left it yesterday. We drove for about 200 meters and we stopped to try to get pictures of a Grey-headed Social-Weaver

We leave the area again and as I, well, I was not full of pep. But I was ready for some more bird watching. We continued towards south and we were soon leaving the paved road again driving out in the wilderness on our right hand side. We drive through the wilderness on a dust road and we see quite a few birds. We are here to look for the Vulturine Guineafowl
and we see quite a few of them, but it is a very scared bird so it is very hard to come close to them.
We spotted another very beautiful bird, new for me, never seen before.
We stop to take pictures of the Pygmy Falcon

We drove back towards the paved road and we spotted a group of the Vulturine Guineafowl. I got out to try to get some pictures of the beautiful bird. Not so good pictures, but better than nothing. It had been a good afternoon even though it was a short bird watching.
But now I want to go back to my room and bed.
We will drive back to Yabelo to drop our park Guide. Nothing more exciting was spotted by the time we reached the paved road.

On the way back to Yabelo
I spent the rest of the day in my room laying on my bed. I hope to feel better tomorrow as we have a long drive to Negele ahead of us. Very poor road through the wilderness so not the place to be sick. Click HERE
to check out if we see any birds.
