Wednesday 14 th of September 2011 and I was watching DE/T Randgrid disappear through the helicopter window. It was gloom and grey for as long as I could see and it was quite bumpy at times. And I felt water drops falling on me.

is this? Are we going to crash?Can't say that I enjoyed the flight. And why are they flying so high. Wouldn't it be better just to
stay 10 meters above the water in chase something is happening. An engine breakdown and we will fall down several hundred meters to a certain death. There would at least be a slight chance for survival if we only felt 5 meters.I was sitting in the first seat so I monitored every move our pilots made. Maybe not so good, how would I feel if I noticed that the pilots started to panic up front? wel, I will
hopefully be able to make it home so I can listen to some Ponglang again.

for to agonize over the rain INSIDE the helicopter. Are there one or two engines in this helicopter? What will I think about when falling to the ocean? Would I think about my failed diet? And if I would be thinking of my failed diet and all the other shit would I then be looking forward to hit the earth in 300 ending it all?And we had to wear survival suits so, well, and maybe lucky to wear the survival suit with the rain. But it was not very comfortable. And I
praise myself for coming up with the good idea to start exercising at Bangkok fight Club. I can just imagine trying to get a cubic ton of Aladdin in to one of those suites.I could follow our flight on the screen in the cook pit through the open door and the pilots were busy trying to dodge the rain and
the radar screen was full of rain and I could not help but wondering where the hell they were going to go.But we made it to Kristiansund Helicopter Base. It was raining when we got out of the helicopter.
Luckily enough it was just 200 meters from Kristiansund's heliport to the airport and I had soon checked in all the way to Bangkok with Scandinavian Airlines. Kristiansund - Oslo- Copenhagen - Bangkok. Can't say that I was looking forward to the trip. I tried to upgrade to business but they didn't accepted cash. Only points' and
SAS points. My Thai miles were good for nothing even though it is STAR ALLIANCE. Yeah, this STAR ALLIANCE thing should be sofantastic. It should be like ONE big airline taking
you all over the world. BLAH!Yes, it is all sounds so fantastic until you stand there expecting “milk and honey” with all the commercials fresh in mind. Well, thanks' to Bangkok Fight Club and a sleeping pill it will be possible to fly monkey class.
Kristiansund's airport is a very small one, but there is a coffee shop and I got 2 cups of tea and 2 sandwiches. And yes, it was self service and I had to pay 1000 Baht for 2 sandwiches that I could hardly eat. I finished half of the first sandwich and I
returned to the counter and I asked if they could grill my sandwiches.The grill didn't manage to make the sandwich taste any better, but the sandwich for sure turned more exciting in the grill. I finished my tea and I went to buy a Diet MAX and a mango smoothie trying to kill some time. The mango smoothie at Kristiansund airport was not anything that I will buy again. But the Diet MAX was a sure thing as always.
Time went pretty quick, our electrician and I went to the smoker's corner. Outside the
terminal where the taxi arrived, in the rain. Security check and I went through the metal detector, not a beep and that was even though I had half a kilo of wrist watch on my wrist. Second
time I went through the security I just passed the metal detector and there was no one around to check me.Well, I hope we only get the GOOD people onboard our flight to Oslo. Departure time 18:55 and we started to
board the flight 10 or 15 minutes before departure and we were soon on our way to Oslo. we arrived 10 minutes early to Oslo so I had time to buy snus and a bottle of Chivas Regal for my Teacher at Bangkok Fight Club.I landed in Copenhagen 20 minutes before 10 and that gave me an hour before my flight to Bangkok left from gate C28. At the SAS check-in at Kristiansund airport they told me that the flight to Bangkok wasn't full and it didn't looked like there were too much people at the gate.
When we finally took off we were soon served food and when I finished the movie I popped a sleeping pill and I woke up 2 hours before arrival to FUNKY TOWN International.

Thursday 15 th

and I stepped inside my apartment around 4 o'clock in the
afternoon. And yes, it was nice to get home after almost 24 hours of travelling.And the helicopter packing is the way I will go from now on. If I didn't need any suitcase during my month onboard DE/T
Randgrid I will not need it on any other ship. And I'm looking for a new smaller lap top. 17” should be enough and then I can put it in my wheeled carryon bag. My Dell is 11 kilo and I need an extra bag to carry the laptop. So if I can get a smaller laptop I will only have two bags to carry. Travelling light is the way to go.So packing up my bags was pretty quick. No
need to do anything with my duffle bag. Just to put it in my guest room STAND-BY for my next ship. Just to grab the bag on my way to the door.My plan was to go to Robinson to buy eggs, tomatoes and onion for my omelette and I would have a quick omelette before going to Bangkok fight Club. But time ran quick so I decided
to skip Robinson.
Salmon and avocado sushi at Prasanmit Plaza seemed like a better idea.My friend was going to eat at Soi 22 but he called 20 minutes later and he had changed his mind.
So he was going to join me for some Japanese food at Prasanmit Plaza and that meant that it would take a wee bit longer. But I was confident that I would make it to
Bangkok fight Club in time. Yes, I was looking
forward to some sparring at Bangkok fight Club. But first some sushi.I walked down to Prasanmit Plaza and I had to bring my mobile phone. My friend didn't knew the place so I expected him to call for directions. I passed my local 7 Eleven and the girl (or boy), I'm not really sure. Well, I'm 99% certain that it is a girl, but as this is Thailand there are many different choices of life styles. Tom is what they call a girl that likes to be a boy.
Me? Whatever rocks your boat. I don't say anything, or I'm just going to be called “Aladdin the Nazi” again.
Well, never mind, she or he was the one that could not see
that I was getting smaller by the day when I stopped at 7 Eleven for some Diet MAX
on my way home from Bangkok Fight Club.- Where have you been?

I ordered salmon and avocado nikiri and they got my first order wrong. I got salmon maki and avocado maki. Put they shaped up after my first plate and the 3 following plates was filled with salmon and avocado nakiri. And they also remembered that I like sesame seeds on my sushi. I had forgotten to ask for sesame, but the staff filled them with sesame seeds.
I could go to Bangkok Fight ClubI stepped inside Bangkok fight Club 1 minute past 7, a few minutes later than expected. I wrote to the American girl that I would be at Bangkok fight Club 5 minutes before 7 Thursday evening. There was only the 5 of us, good, Thursdays are usually crowded and I don't mind being alone, or almost alone.
More time for us to do sparring and exercises. I was surprised to see the American girl with a black eye. She wrote that she got a black eye just a few days after I had left for DE/T Randgrid. But she got a new one and this one had required a visit to the Doctor and some stitches.

Well, for sure, I didn't felt any smaller after a month
away from Bangkok fight ClubI knew that I might be a few minutes late when I left for Bangkok fight Club and I was hopping
to miss the Thai Navy exercises.Can't say that I have done very much exercise during the time onboard DE/T
Randgrid. At least not since KILLER more or less gave up his try to become the new #1 boxer of the Philippines.
Well, I was unlucky, we started 15 minutes after 7 and of course, we started right off with the Thai Navy exercises.
We did 2 minutes of the Thai Navy exercises and when we finished we did some shadow boxing and
2 or 3 rounds on the punch bags. When we finished the punch bags we started with the fun part, the sparring.3 girls and 2 guys at today's boxing session so I had to do the sparring with the other guy and two of the girls sparring with each others. The American girl with the stitches did the mitts. We could not risk her getting punched on the stitches.

We finished my first boxing session since I signed off DE/T Randgrid with the mitts. And before we left our Teacher had the American girl's black eye cleaned and dressed. I thought
that she had got her arse kicked during the sparing. But it turned out that she had been sparred with the kid that uses to be there time from time. He is about 14 and he had managed to put his elbow tight in her eye.The Doctor forbade her to train any Muay Thai for a week. But she didn't care.
- I have a fight in 4 weeks and I can't stop the training for at least one week.

up on them trying to get a picture.Of course, it didn't take long before they discovered me.
Back home and I was dead tired after my trip from Kristiansund, 24 hours on the run and I managed to catch 4 or 5 hours of sleep
on the flight Copenhagen and Bangkok.And sleeping in an airplane chair is not a nice experience. Of course, it is better than to sit in the darn chair TRYING to sleep. I popped a sleeping pill and I managed to sleep for a few hours and for sure, even if I sleep I'm tired at
arrival. But I have come up with a new idea that I will try out next time I'm on a flight.A painkiller, or a fist full of painkillers. How does a painkiller work? Well, made easy, the
painkiller block the pain signals to reach your brain. And if the pill manages to block the pain signal it will hopefullybe able to block the “discomfort” signal. Well, worth trying. But I can't help wonder if it should be necessary to bring a whole pharmacy just for a flight.Well, anyway, I wanted to stay up for a few hours when I was back home from Bangkok Fight Club trying to avoid waking up in the middle of the night being unable to fall asleep again.

and I felt asleep 2 o'clock in the morning and that gives me 7 hours until my alarm goes off at 9 o'clock. I woke up at 4 and it was impossible to fall asleep again. DARN and double DARN! Motherf@cker! I was in a real bad mood and that didn't make it easier to fall
asleep and I gave up. I went back to bed at 7 but no luck. So I had several hours to trying
to keep up with my web page. But I was so tired so I didn't manage to do anything with my web page.My original plan was to go to Chakrit Muay Thai School but those plans changed when I dropped my camera in the floor onboard DE/T Randgrid. I had to go to Canon's office so they could remove the broken filter from my
lens. And I left for Canon in a taxi at 11 thirty and I arrived to Canon's office at Sathorn Road 20 minutes later.At Canon's office they told me that they would fix my camera and I could come back to pick up my camera at 2 o'clock. I was surprised, I had expected them to keep my camera for a few days.
- It's lunch break so we cannot finish the camera until 2 o'clock.

- It's for free, we cut of the filter.
Good, I was relieved, obviously they had done this before. My lens looked trashed but the “we will only cut off the filter” made me happy. Once again i praised myself for not buying a Scooby 500 or a Lady 750. They would for sure have charged me for fixing the lens, if (I doubt it) the lens
would have survived the drop to the floor. For sure, I would have had to pay 20 dollars for a new Lady 750 camera.Well, I had to come back at 2 o'clock and I had to change my plans. My plan was to go buy some hangover DVDs (just in case) and then go back home for 2 hours sleep before going to Bangkok Fight Club.
I bought my hangover DVDs and I returned to Canon's office to pick up my camera. I was in a good mood even though I was tired when I left Canon. The walls at the elevators was in polished metal,
looking like mirrors and I saw the girl behind the desk at the reception in the polished
metal on the wall. She was taking my pictures when I was waiting for the elevator
and I turned around and she was embarrassed.- I want a photo of you
And of course, she was caught red handed taking SNEEK pictures of Mr. Handsome so she could not
refuse when I wanted to take a few pictures of her.I left Canon and I took a taxi to Robinson and Tops Market on Sukhumvit to buy some groceries. I
needed egg, onion and tomatoes for my afternoon omelette.I bought a bag of avocado, I have plans to buy some smoked salmon at SCAN DELI and I want to make a Aladdin Spring roll Special with smoked salmon and avocado.
I wanted to walk back home, but I had bought a bottle of olive oil so my bags was a wee bit heavy and I took a taxi. I was back home quarter past 3. Perfect, I can have 2 hours of sleep before going to Bangkok Fight Club. I put my alarm on 17
thirty and I went to bed. DARN!
Impossible to sleep and I got out of bed at 5 o'clock and I made myself an omelette. It wasn't as good as I had expected so I threw half of it. But I finished my pot of tea and when I was ready I took off to Bangkok Fight Club.I arrived to Bangkok Fight Club a few minutes before 7. The American girl and a British guy were the only two participants today. GOOD, we did a quick warm up and we got right on with the sparring. Sparring is the fun part of the boxing. The only problem is the helmets, they are
too small and they gives me headache and a tunnel vision. Better back in the days when I didn't had my earrings and I didn't need any stupid helmet. 
Teacher. Her Doctor had forbidden her to any
sparring for a week but she just don't give a darn.As I told her, she really has a backbone and she won't give up. Yes, I really admire her spirit. Some people start boxing
obviously under the impression that they will turn in to a new ROCKY after just one session.A punch on the nose
and they are back home crying never to be seen again.
When I finished the sparring with the British guy I
took on our Teacher and the American girl and the British guy started to throw
punches at each other.We did a few rounds and we finished today's session with the mitts. Well, of course we had to do sit ups
and stretching before we were allowed to go homeFriday and we're usually leaving early. But it was almost 9 o'clock when we left Bangkok Fight Club.
Well, we will meet on Monday again and I will meet the American girl at Chakrit Muay Thai School tomorrow.Hmm, if I don't have any hangover that is.
I walked home and I passed the restaurant that I pass everyday on my way home. Outdoor and I could hear the guest laughing and enjoying themselves. Monday to Thursday there are only water
bottles on the tables and no one is laughing. Going home on Friday evenings and it is beer and Whiskey bottles
on the tables and people are laughing and enjoying the night. So this is a proof of that it is more fun with alcohol.Hmm, passing 2 hours later and it might be a totally
different story. People screaming at each other
and throwing punches.People sleeping
over the tables or throwing up on
the floor or all over the side walk. And then it is easier to understand why some people think it is more fun without alcohol.And I was very close to getting drunk. My friend was drinking beer and I was going to take a shower before going to meet him. But after his third call and I could
hear that he was pretty drunk. Well, I changed my mind and I stayed home. And it would not have been fun drinking any beer because I had not been sleeping since I left DE/T Randgrid.It was strange, I had been dead tired all day long because I only had 2 hours of sleep. But when I came home from Bangkok fight Club I was wide awake again.

and I felt asleep at 1 o'clock and I woke up 20 minutes past 2.
DARN! Not another night without sleep. But I managed to fall asleep again and I woke up at 9 when my alarm went off. Good, I will be at Chakrit Muay Thai School
at 12 and I was glad that I stayed home yesterday.I walked to Chakrit Muay Thai School and I arrived 10 minutes before 12 and we got right on with the sparring. I did 2 rounds before the American girl arrived.
I had ordered boxing gloves several months ago, but
they were too small. But I decided to try a pair and I asked if they had any new gloves that I could try. I tried a pair and they
were OK. Too small if I'm going to wrap my hands. But so far I had never wrapped my hands. So why should I start now?I bought the gloves and they charged
me 1000 Baht and I will pay them on Monday. Good, now I MUST come on Monday to pay me gloves and I will have to do my exercises.
Good, I will try to do 2 boxing sessions per day, Monday to Friday and one session on Saturdays.
Well, anyway, the American girl and I did some sparring.
OK, she was hitting me and I was blocking. But it was a good exercise for me as well.When we finished she did the mitts with our Teacher. And I can't help it but I must mention

DELI was not an option as I had no cash. I could go to the ATM, but then I could as well continue to SCAN
DELI and I was for sure not happy about going to SCAN DELI.I know myself and my self discipline, if I end up at SCAN DELI I will order some food. Well, salmon it is and I took a taxi to SCAN DELI with a stop at the ATM.
I ordered smoked salmon with boiled potatoes and salmon
sauce. EXCELLENT! I had two pots of tea and as I had a new pot of tea on the table when I finished my salmon I had a Daim. I had a second Daim. And when I opened the fridge for the third time I told the girl that I took 2 Daim. 4 Daims and I wished that I had stayed back home.But then I would never have met the new Manager of SCAN DELI. I had never met him before, but he knew who Aladdin was. And he knew that I
liked salmon. We had a chat and it turned out that he had seen me on the flight from Copenhagen last Wednesday.They had changed logo and they had redecorated the restaurant. He told me that they were building a new restaurant section on the top floor. Well, I will try to avoid the
place. I have problems going to a restaurant and I willhopefully be able to stay well clear of SCAN DELI's new restaurant section. But I'm very doubtful. 4 Daim and my diet were down the drain.But 4 Daim was nothing compared to the 12 bottles
of San Miguel Light I had a few hours later. And 12 bottles was during the first hour of drinking, I must have had at least a case of beer during the evening. But it was nice to have a San Miguel Light after, well, at least 1 month since I had San Miguel Light last time.And the beer tasted “Can I have another San Miguel Light, PLEASE” and the Waitress was busy
bringing me new bottles of San Miguel Light
all the time. Yes, I don't want to spent too much to time with a bottle of fine beer.We had a friend that had arrived from Sweden earlier during the day with his daughter. When they wanted to go to New Cowboy Restaurant and Grill on Soi 22 I should have known better and left in the other direction.
But I joined them, but I was for sure not going to sit and grow old at New Cowboy. One beer and I was off to Thonglor. And I can't help wonder why old guys starts to carry a tool belt around their waist. Millions of pockets in the trousers and
several different SURVIVAL KITS hanging from the belt. Is there anyone out there that has actually found any use for the Swiss army knife that can make your bed and baking bread? I don't thinks' so, and for sure, not on a Saturday night in Bangkok.Well, 4 Daims and 24 San Miguel Lights nothing compared with my last stupidity. A stop at Little Italy. Who the
needs a pizza at 4 thirty in the morning? I had not been there
for a very long time. A year or two ago I never failed to stop there on my way home in the wee hours. Little Italy is the first thing I see when I turn in on Soi 23 and it is open 24/7 and I always asked the taxi driver to stop.And I came up with a good idea back then. I would call in a bomb threat every time going for a few beers and the place would be closed down when I was on my way home. But I never had to set my plans in motion as I managed to stay away from the place. But I might have to carry out my plans if stop at little Italy continues.

Monday 19 th

and I discovered that they were installing an ATM machine when I
passed my local 7 Eleven on my way to Chakrit Muay Thai School. This was a pleasant surprise.When they moved the old 7 Eleven they removed the ATM
and I will have to walk to the university or to Sino Thai tower to find an ATM. Now I will have a new ATM just around the corner. Very good.I arrived to Chakrit Muay Thai School just after 12 o'clock and we started with the sparring and we did a few rounds with the mitts before I walked back home. They had finished installing the ATM when I passed my 7 Eleven on my way home. Now I only wait
for them to connect the ATM so I can start to use it.Now I had a 7 Eleven card that I have no use for anymore. Well, maybe I can have the card in my boxing valet and I can use it when I buy my water.
I bought salmon at SCAN DELI last Saturday and I bought avocado at Tops Market last Friday and I was just waiting for the avocado to be ready to eat.
Today it's Monday and I decided to have my darn avocados, I have been waiting to make a Aladdin special spring roll since Saturday. And I really want to try the avocado peeler I bought in Dublin. Or this
will turn out as a complete waste of
money. So today it will be avocado & salmon spring roll or bust.I don't know what's wrong with the avocadoes I buy in Thailand. They are from New Zealand but they are hard like rocks.
When I buy them in Sweden I can eat them after a day or 2. I bought avocado in Thailand before and they are hard like rocks and then the avocado turns from hard to ready for the garbage over night. A
waste of money.The avocado peeler didn't work at all.
Hmm, maybe because the avocado was like stones. They went straight to the garbage and I decided not to buy any more avocado. I'm better of eating the avocado at a restaurant from now on. If it is a restaurant worth its name they should have ripe avocado available in the kitchen.
I stopped at 7 Eleven and I bought a bottle of water
using my 7 Eleven card. No need to carry cash any more. I meet the other participants outside 7 Eleven. They were waiting for our Teacher and he arrived a few minutes later and we went upstairs to start our session.

and I didn't arrive to Chakrit Muay Thai School until almost 12 thirty. I had people from Samsung coming to pick up my computer screen. Yes, I think I mentioned it the other day when I was at Canon. Bangkok and I had never run in to any poor service when it (OK, SONY sucks, buthmm, is SONY a brand I associate with good quality?) comes to any of the good quality brands. I just take a taxi to their office and they repair my stuff. And that's even though I have destroyed the stuff myself so it is not due to poor quality. And in the case of Dell and Samsung, I did not even had drag my arse to their office. They came home to me.In Sweden? well, believe me it is a different story. You buy something expensive and you expect it to be of a good quality. Turns out that it falls apart in your hands when you have left the shop behind. Just to return to get it fixed. No no!
Now things turn in to hell. You have to go to a “guarantee hut” where millions of people are queuing up with their stuff they want to repair. If you're lucky it is during the summer. But if it is in the
winter it is cold like hell waiting there. And then they don't manage to repair the stuff
and when you're coming back the third or fourth time, of course you have to wait for hours every time, just to hear that the guarantee don't cover this damage that you have caused all by yourself. Yes, I have lost my temper more than once.

We did sparring and the mitts at Chakriat Muay Thai School and it was fun. And my Teacher was kicking
today making it a wee bit more exciting with the sparring. But the kicking was also slowing me down, now I
had to keep my eyes on both his legs and arms and attacking was a wee bit slower. But I got my exercise and I keep my diet on track and that is the most important!I made myself a tomato and onion omelette before leaving for Bangkok Fight Club. onion omelette. Today was my first day back to my original diet menu. And I was also making my bed today, first time since I came back home last week. So I'm settling in to a
normal and boring life.There must have been millions of people at Bangkok fight Club when I arrived. There were people wrestling and a group was boxing. We were 6 people in my group
and we hardly found any space.We had to squeeze in to
one of the corners and we started the session by kicking the bags. Of course, we did the Thai Navy
exercises first of all. Well, it was crowded and I didn't expect anysparring during today's session.We finished with the bags and we got started with shadow boxing. By now it was only our group left at Bangkok fight Club so we had plenty space.
Our Teacher was busy taking pictures with my camera while we did the shadow boxing. He was so disappointed that we didn't got any pictures for his facebook yesterday. So he wanted to make sure he got some pictures for his facebook today.

We did some spring knees before we sat up 6 different stations, 2 minutes on each station. Lifting a tyre, running around with a bag, and 3 different stations at the punch bags. We also did the mitts without Teacher and it was 9 o'clock before we left Bangkok Fight Club. I also meet the child that had given the American girl the black eye. And he turned out to be from Sweden.

and my alarm went off at 9 o'clock. But as I didn't felt asleep
until 4 or 5 in the morning I was soon back to sleep. I didn't woke up until 13 thirty and I was a NO SHOW at Chakrit Muay Thai School and my day was destroyed.I dashed off to my local 7 Eleven and that was the only time I left my apartment during the day. were 5 of us, 2 guys from Japan and 2 guys from Thailand and our hero from Skåne.I had expected us to start with the Thai Navy exercises. But our Teacher sat up 5 stations that we had to start the session with.- Then we will do some sparring!
- OK, let's get started already, I suggested.I was looking forward to the sparring, that is the fun part of the boxing sessions.
Five stations and we did 1 minute at each station before we changed to the next station.
• Station 1: To lift a tyre, up and down with straight arms.
• Station 2: Lift a dumbbell behind the back
• Station 3: Pushing a weight from your chest back and forth
• Station 4: My favourite “The Bag of fun”. Running around the club with the bag on the shoulders
• Station 5: Barbell. Lift from the floor with squat down and then pull the barbell to the cheest

to the punch bags where we should do spring knees for 30 seconds.Well, as we know I get sick of the
darn somersault. So I had to jump back and forth like a frog, well, I was most likely looking like an elephant trying to jump like a
frog. And I won't be surprised to learn if there is a Richter scale somewhere out there that went crazy while I was jumping
back and forth.We had to do this exercise 3 times and when we finished I was expecting us to start the
sparring.I was half dead after the jumping and spring knees, but never mind, sparring or bust!
I'll be darned, after the spring
knees we had to do the punch bags. I looked at the clock on the wall. And the clock was over 8 o'clock.- What the? Will there be any time for sparring? Not much time, that's for sure.
We did a few rounds of kicking, kneeing and elbowing the punch bags and finally it was time for sparring. There were two first timers so it was quite obvious that they had to
spareach other. Our Teacher threw a Thai guy at me, an old timer at Bangkok Fight Club.We have a new Thai guy and a new Japanese guy at
Bangkok Fight Club and our Teacher took pictures of them sparring.But I'm sorry to say, the quality is not exactly what we have grow to get used to at aladdin.st so we will never see these pictures here. He also took the
pictures of me sparring and, well, I will put them here even though I have some wishes forthe quality. When we finished I took the camera and I took a few pictures of our Japanese friend sparring with the new Thai guy.

and YES! I went out of bed at 9 o'clock when my alarm went off. OK, I popped a sleeping pill yesterday or I would have spent the night tossin' and turnin' in bed. I will try to get up 8 o'clock in the morning from now on and I willhopefully get some time for my Thai books. I have read f@ck all since I came back home.Maybe a waste of time, no one understands me when I speak Thai, well, of course, when I'm drunk people are under the impression that I'm fluent. And that can turn out to be awkward when you
meet them the day after. F@ck, Aladdin with a hangover and he can't even speak Skånska and here are someone claiming that they meet me yesterday throwing a tirade of Thai in my direction.- What??!!
Monday, I think I will try to get started with my
Thai books on Monday. Feels better to start my new routines when we have a new and fresh week ahead. Out of bed
at 9 o'clock and I had time to wash my bed linen before it was time to leave for Chakrit Muay Thai School.I passed the restaurant on the corner Soi 23 and Prasanmit Plaza and as usually I was meet by an
onslaught of questions from the Waitress.- How are you?
- Do you have a girl friend?
- Are you going to the boxing?
Well, I guess I have myself to blame. Every time she ask how I am I come up with different strupid answers why I'm NOT ok.
Well, there was one guy at Chakrit Muay Thai School when I arrived. And he turned out to be from Sweden. Where are all these Swedes come from? But he was finished when I arrived and he was
about to leave. But we had time for a chat.He had begun to train the boxing yesterday and he was
going to stay in Thailand for 3 and half weeks more so I expect to see him again.I donned my boxing shoes and I stepped right up in the ring with one of the Teachers. A
few rounds of sparring before we starts with the mitts. I have an idea that it is better to start with the sparring, if I do it in the end of the session I'm too tired to
kick arse. And that's what we're going to do.
The other Teacher and the Swede were watching us in the ring. And I had asked the Teacher watching us to take some pictures. So I had to check the pictures between the rounds and I think he managed to change from “Shutter-Priority” to “Aperture-Priority”

So I made some adjustments to the camera and we managed to get a few good pictures at the
last round. The first round and all the pictures was taking against the window. And I don't think I will have to explain how pictures taken (without flash) against the light turns out.
But I could use a few of the pictures, but only thanks to Photoshop. And as mentioned, during round 2 we were unlucky and the Teacher must have turned the mode dial from “Shutter-Priority” to “Aperture-Priority”. But as we can see above, the pictures were not a total fiasco.

There was a reportage about Chakrit Muay Thai School and I took a picture of the reportage to put on my web page. And I would read the stuff when I was back home.Well, the reportage turned out to be about the owner of Bourbon Street Restaurant and his sons. Interesting!
I finished my session at Chakrit Muay Thai School and I was pretty satisfied with the session. I was a wee bit worried when I woke up this morning, I had some pain in my arms due to heavy exercise. But it turned out to be no problem to throw punches in the ring.

Fight Club again. And I passed my old 7 Eleven walking down my soi. I was surprised, was it open yesterday?I think they have opened my old 7 Eleven today, and they had rebuilt the place. It was bigger than before, but the new 7 Eleven is
closer to my place so I will stick with the new 7 Eleven. Especially since they have installed an ATM. There was no sign of any ATM at the old 7 Eleven. And I know all the staff in the
new 7 Eleven, they were all used to work at the old 7 Eleven before.I arrived to Bangkok Fight Club just before 7 and it looked like we would only be 3 people in our group. The American girl and a kid from New Zealand.
We started with sparring, but we started today's session very late. It was 7 thirty before we started and it might have been due to traffic jam. And of course, all participants had to wrap their hands and this took time.

and I was out of bed at 9 thirty. I woke up with my alarm at 9 o'clock. But I spent 30 minutes to scroll through eh news channels on TV. Nothing but f@cking gloom. I'm losing money by the day, so far I would have been able to take a few years off with
the money lost on the f@cking stocks. But then again, I really haven't lost anything until I have to sell the shitty stocks. I would have been better of eating at nice restaurants and drinking myself
retarded at
fun pubs dying of a heart attack not having to worry about anything.I was not in the best of moods coming to my kitchen for my GOOD MORNING Diet MAX and my
vitamin tablets. I need a long hot shower and a Diet MAX
to wake up in the morning. I didn't felt asleep until 4 or 5 in the morning so I was pretty tired when my alarm went off at 9.When I was ready with my Diet MAX I was in a shape to turn on my “tea machine” and to open a can of tuna. And I was ready to take on Chakrit
Muay Thai School when I had finished my tea. So I took my daily walk
to the boxing club on Washington Square.The only person there was the Swede I meet yesterday and
I were soon in the ring with one of the Teachers. Wewere throwing punches at each other for 3 rounds when I had a break. I would do a few rounds with the Swede. He has only
been training Muay Thai for a few days, but he is an old Karate guy so I don't think the sparring would do him any harm.My Teacher was trying to be funny today, well, actually, we got a good laugh out of it. He was attacking me while trying to stand on my foot to prevent me from taking a step backwards. Well, 22 kg of Thai boxer on my foot and I didn't notice any remarkable difference and when I stepped back my Teacher almost felt over.
Doing the mitts and sparring with the Swede, OK, that was the plan but I ended up in the sofa talking about the good ol' times with the Swede. We talked about diet and i told him that my life had turned in to a real doldrums since I started my diet. No restaurants or party.

I told him that my fridge was always empty because if I had something in the fridge I would not stop eating until it was gone. 2 kilos of smoked salmon the other day and the darn salmon was a
goner in a jiff. Same when I'm at a restaurant, I order at least 4 or 5 items. So now a day I always walk back home for a can of tuna when I'm hungry.Time turned quick and one hour passed and it was soon time to go home. Well, anyway, we would meet at Chakrit
Muay Thai School tomorrow and we will do the sparring then.Hopefully no talking, only action.I left Chakrit Muay Thai school in a
good mood even though I had only done 3 rounds of sparring. Not good, but I will be at Bangkok Fight Club kicking behinds tonight.But things were turning worse, my friend wanted to meet. I suggested a cup of tea but we
ended up at a Japanese restaurant eating sushi. I ordered salmon & avocado sushi and there must have been a misunderstanding. I got 3 plates of sushi! A wee bit embarrassing
with 3 plates of sushi, my friend had brought her boss and she must have wondering how the hell she had ended up with a troglodyte like me. 3
PLATES ++ (Yes, I found a few other items on the menu)But sushi is supposed to be healthy so I felt pretty good about the dinner, and the company was nice. But things were soon to get worse.
Restaurant isn't very good for my diet and I had the discussion with the Swede at Chakrit Muay Thai School. Well, at least I didn't have to do my omelette and I saved money on the egg, tomatoes and onion.Hmm, I will most likely end up having to throw away the darn tomato and onion now when I'm not eating it.
Tick-tock and the clock turned 10 past 6 and it was soon time to leave for Bangkok fight Club. And
now it was time for me to come up with one of my brightest ideas in a very long time.- I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude. BUT HURRY UP!! And we can make it for a cup of tea at the coffee shop next door before I leave for Bangkok Fight Club.
- What theI was under the impression that they wanted a cup of tea and a brownie when we talked about it at the Japanese restaurant. No way I'm sitting here eating a brownie while the girls are watching me with eyes like saucers.
- Isn't there any bottom in Porky?
- You don't eat brownies? I asked

I asked for two more brownies and the waitress brought them on two plates with 2 forks.
After a lot of nagging they decided to share the half of one of the brownies. OK, so I had to sacrifice myself and I took the other brownie.And how stupid did I felt eating a cubic ton of brownies while they had a glass of water. Yea, and when they asked for a doggy bag I had to put my feet down.
- Are you kidding me? A doggy bag for half a brownie?
Leaving the coffee shop with a doggy bag!! Not on my watch and I grabbed the brownie and I ate it before they had a chance to react.Well, my friend was going to pick up her daughter at Wirasirinot University. Yeah, I know, I got the name of the university all wrong, but never mind. My
friend's daughter is playing violin at the Wirash....., well, at the university and she finish at 7 o'clock.I pass the university on my way to Bangkok Fight Club and I suggested that we would walk down there together. My friend and her boss work at an German company and she has parked her car at the parking house at the university.

When we reached the parking place I left the girls and I was just about to cross Asoke when my friend's boss said that she was going to walk with me. The traffic was at full stop and she will take the sky train back home. Yes, we can walk together for 50 meters.
When we reached 7 Eleven I said bye bye and I hope to see you again and I went in to buy a bottle of water. Darn! It was stupid to eat the brownies before
my session at Bangkok Fight Club. I really didn't felt in the mood for boxing.I felt bad when I left the coffee shop but I had expected to feel better after the walk to Bangkok fight Club. Go back
home? No I will give it a try.I bought my bottle of water at 7 Eleven and when I left I ran in to our Teacher. He was going to buy something to drink and he had been at the soda machine for less than 15 seconds when stuff
started to fall to the floor around him.- What are you doing over there? Are you breaking the soda machine?
Our Teacher asked me how a Swedish pig sounded like at yesterday's session.

And he found this hilarious and now he is doing the nöff nöff sound all the time. Well, I don't know which is most annoying, him trying to do Aladdin'sZIP IT whistle
or the nöff nöff sound.I did 3 rounds off sparring and I went back home, I felt like shit. I told our Teacher that I didn't felt too good and I left. Of course, I never told him about the sushi and brownies.

and I woke up when they called from SAMSUNG at 8 thirty. I was dead tired, I had yet another morning of tossin' and turnin' until almost 5 o'clock. They would bring my monitor at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.- How much?- It's for freeWell, what to say. But for sure, my next monitor will be a SAMSUNG. And of course, a SAMSUNG
TV. I was looking at one of those 55" ultra thin TVs and I think it would be perfect for my HANGOVER DVD's®. I have an 42" SAMSUNG that I can move in to my guest
room. And then I will have to give away my TV and DVD player in my guest room. To the girl that takes care of my flowers?Well, I don't know, if you're nice people just takes you for an idiot. I gave her one TV and DVD player and now she asks for yet another TV and I'm a real “CHEAP CHARLIE” Yes, I have many examples. I remember having my breakfast at a hotel in town. One of the girls working at the hotel passed me and on her way she dropped one of the newspapers. I picked up the news paper and I brought it to her at the area where they are working. Behind a wall so I could not see them from my table, but suddenly there were news papers start flying out on the floor and they expected me to pick them up. Stupid motherf.....s!
But a new HANGOVER TV?Hmm, my friend wanted me to go for a few drinks yesterday.

I had a few rounds of sparring with my Teacher at Chakrit Muay Thai School and then I had a few rounds with the Swede. I stopped at my local 7 Eleven on my way home. And yes, the ATM is operational and I will come back and try the ATM first thing when I have been home to get my valet and a hot shower.
Try the ATM first thing, well, I will have to postpone the test. I had 22 missed calls when I came back home. 19 from SAMSUNG and they were obviously in the neighbourhood with my monitor.
My friend called again and he asked, well, he was nagging on me to come drink beer. Early
afternoon and he was already slurring. I was making my tomato & onion omelette when he called again. This time I could hardly hear what he said and I decided that my diet was more important.I decided to skip the beers even though San Miguel Light is low on calories. And I will of course
feel much better tomorrow. I got a hot tip at Bangkok Fight Club the other day. Check out National Stadium, plenty Muay Thai shops in the area and I might find a boxing helmet that fits me.So what's better than going there tomorrow, Sunday and
the only day of the week I have time for anything else than boxing. So why waste my only free day with a hangover?I decided to take a walk to Emporium to check out the SAMSUNG TV. I have checked out a TV with WI-FI and web browser. Pretty nifty, I can surf
the net checking out the latest news on www.aladdin.st from the comfort in my bed. But the only problem is that the TV doesn't have any connection for my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I bought a computer for my bed room so I use my TV as monitor, but it would be very nice
to be able to get the computer out from the bed room.Actually, I removed the computer from my bed room this very morning preparing for a new TV. I left for Emporium and I stopped at the garbage room to get rid of yet another of my old photo albums.
First stop on my way to Emporium, the ATM at my local
7 Eleven and the ATM worked beautifully. I went inside 7 Eleven and I refilled my 7 Eleven card before I continued to Emporium.1000 Baht refill on my 7 Eleven card in my boxing valet and this will last me for months one 15 Baht bottle of water per day. That is of course if I manage to give up the Diet MAX , otherwise the 100 Baht
won't last me very long. And of course, I need to give up the coffin nails.
I could see lightning in the horizon and I was hoping that I would not have to run in to any
rain. And I was lucky, I reached Emporium without having to experience any rain. I started at the top floor looking for a salt jar.I bought a set of jars and a olive oil bottle a few weeks ago. Made out of very brittle glass, and of course, I managed to destroy the salt jar first thing. It was enough to put it on the table and it went to millions of pieces. Well, anyway, I needed a new salt jar so I went on the top floor to buy a new.

Of course, there was nothing left and I realised that I had wasted 2500 Baht on this set. The whole idea was to have the same design on the olive oil bottle and the salt and pepper jars. Now it is pretty much
worth nothing. I was not in a good mood, wasting 2500 for pretty much nothing. DARN DARN!!I will never buy any glass jars again, metal and I can have them forever. I went down to check out the SAMSUNG when I was finished on the top floor.
The guy at SAMSUNG recognised me instantly but he was busy with some people looking at a TV so I started to check out the POWER MALL. I was walking around when suddenly I spotted a girl.
- Jesus Christ! She was beautiful.I moved closer and she was locking at a hair blower or something. I was on the other side of the shelf. And no, I didn't felt like a stalker, I was looking for stuff.

Have you ever bought razor blades for a Gillette? Quite expensive so even if I bought the 6000

I have removed my computer from my bed room and I don't want to bring it back even though it is a small computer. And seriously, do I need to have internet on my TV? I don't think so, I only use my TV when I have a hangover and then I'm for sure not in a mood to use any keyboard. Well, I told the guy that I would be back soon.
I walked back home and as I was walking up Soi 23 the people along the road was surprised.
- Don't you have your shoes today?- No boxing?
They see me walking up and down the Soi with my boxing shoes everyday and they had never seen me during the night.

I'm usually at home trying to sleep at this time, but now I'm out and running so I was hungry. I should really have returned home to my bed.
My bed would have been the best for my diet, but it is Saturday. I ordered a schnitzel and a pot of tea at Tai Pan

The food was OK, but I was not impressed. A hotel kitchen without whipped cream? I don't think so, my guess is that they were out of spray cans and that the Cook didn't know how to whip the cream. Cook or not, you should be able to whip some cream.
I had an hour of scratching at the massage place and when I came back home I started to get a
burning sensation in my face, Not painful but annoying. I looked in the mirror and I looked like I had been in a fight, was it Chakrit Muay Thai School or the darn epilator.
Maybe not the best idea with the epilator, but next time someone calls me “SLAPHEAD” I can tell them that I had run in to difficulties and it was just an accident with my darn epilator trying to get a shave while I was suffering from a hangover.- The hair will be back in 6 weeks!

and I must have felt asleep after turning off my alarm at 9 because I woke up 20 minutes past 10 when my friend called.- Aren't you boxing?- It is SundayI had my GOOD MORNING tea and tuna (By now it was almost 1 o'clock) before I left
the sky train station and the train to NationalStadium to look for a boxing helmet for my sparring.Sunday and I guessed that the traffic along Sukhumvit would be light so I
decided to take a taxi. Door to door service and I don't have to walk to and from the sky train stations. Friday afternoon and it would have been a different story.I had never been at the National Stadium before and when they have been talking about the National Stadium at Bangkok Fight Club I have always been thinking about Lumpini
Park where they have Muay Thai fights.Well, anyway, I got of the taxi at National Stadium sky train station. I don't know what I had expected, well, a stadium with plenty Muay Thai shops around. And for sure, National Stadium was nothing like I had expected.
There was a soccer field and there was obviously a game tonight. Cheer leaders were practicing
outside and TV team were putting up cameras. There were a cluster of stadiums but no sign off any Muay Thai shops. So I decided to go to MBK Center to look for a helmet.I ended up at Tokyo department store at MBK so I took the
opportunity to look for garbage bags made of paper. I need paper bags so I can sort my paper garbage. It seems like they are collecting and selling paper waste as well. Good, now I sort metal, plastic and glass. Paper waste and I need paper bags to collect my paper garbage.
I asked one of the staff for garbage bags made of paper.- On the ground floor.

I went down to the first floor and this was the department for women's clothes and my guess is that they thought I needed a bag to carry some stuff. I went up on the second floor and I left MBK Center on the sky walk towards Siam Discovery.
I heard music from the street level when I came out on the sky walk. I went to have a look and there was a
concert outside MBK Center. There were about 100 teenagers screaming when 4 guys moved on the stage.And it was obviously too much for one of the fans to see the
heroes on the stage. The fan lost it and they had to lead away the fan. Maybe to a waiting Police car where they would,well, what do I know. Use him as a punch bag?The fan was removed from the concert and the boys on the stage started a new song. It started with the 7 days of the week
and the teenagers were screaming so I thought it was Beatles or ABBA on the stage.And of course, the useless mobile phone camera. Well, if they are
so popular there would be millions of better pictures to be found on the internet.
I also discovered that several of
the people watching the guys were holding signs. This is something I never seen
before. And do they pay for these signs? And on top of that they are standing in the sun holding the signs over their
heads. For what? I hope that one of the guys on the
stage will discover them and offering a marriage?I can only see one reason for people standing in the sun holding a sign over their head, they are
PAID to do it. Beyond comprehension if someone pay for the sign just to stay there holding it over their heads. But what do I know, this is maybe how it is working today. But I was shocked to discover that the signs were driven by batteries.Yes, we humans are stupid. We read about global warming and the flooding in Thailand every day and we're still living our lives as nothing was wrong. They put the batteries in a plastic bag that you throw away as soon as you step outside 7 Eleven.
OK, signs are the latest thing to bring to a concert. I learn something every day. Back when I was young we
would most likely have been drinking beer and been sleeping behind a tree or something. So which is better, carry a sign or drink yourself
retarded? Drinking yourself retarded is for sure more fun than standing with a sign over your head.Well, I remember 15 years ago. We were going to see Kalabao at Lad Prao. TV was at the place and when my friend and I entered the place the TV cameras were aimed at us.
We were dressed in full
snorkelling equipment with flippers and we looked like, yes, thinking about it today and I wish we have had hold a sign over our heads instead of coming in the stupid flippers.I passed a few Japanese restaurants at Siam Discovery and I went in to one of the restaurants. I was hungry and they had Japanese buffet. Buffet, I could not help it, but I started to think about the buffet on Marriott. I decided to have my dinner at Marriott but first Paragon department store to see if they have any paper bags and a salt jar.
They didn't had my salt jar and they didn't had any paper bags.
- Thai people don't like plastic bags
- But I need paper bags to sort my paper garbage. And think about the future for your children
- Plastic is no good. I will suggest that we start with paper bags.

It was a very nice lady and she walked around with me (afraid that I would steal anything?) looking
for the salt jar. I left Paragon Department store without having bought anything.Plenty taxis at the taxi stand and no people so I was sitting in a taxi in a jiff.

It was a very nice driver, well, most of the taxi drivers in Bangkok are nice and friendly. We had a good time and the time turned quick. Our driver was study English and at every red light he was busy writing down English words in a blue note book he kept between the front seats.
We plunged down Phetchaburi Road and he asked if I wanted to go Asoke or Sukhumvit Soi 3
- Well, Asoke is usually blocked by traffic jam, but never mind, up to you!
- We take Soi 3, he suggested.
- Soi Nikko! I said.
Our driver was laughing and he said that he didn't like the people hanging around in the area. I thought it was strange, he must be the only one in the world and I asked:
- Why not!
- They smell no good
He asked what “bad smell” was in English and I said SMELLY. He took up his blue note book at the next red light. He was repeating the word SMELLY while he was writing down the word in his book.
I was home for 20 minutes before I went down on the road to stop a taxi and I was off to Marriott for their excellent buffet.
And I have not been at Marriott for a few years now so I was looking forward to it.
I got a table next to the buffet so I don't have to run around the restaurant making a fool out of myself with my brimmed plate. I started with fish and mashed potatoes. The fish at Marriott is excellent and I wish I could go to eat at Marriott every day as I used to do back in the days.- Hmm, maybe the reason that I need to be at Bangkok Fight Club everyday now a days
I put the plate of fish and I went to get a plate with rolls. DARN!! They don't have Pretzels or what they call them anymore. I took ordinary fresh baked rolls and I filled the rest of my plate with Mozzarella and onions and I returned to my pot of Earl Grey tea and fish.
The fish was finished in a jiff and the plate of rolls, onion and mozzarella cheese was empty a few seconds after I finished the fish.
I went to get steak, must be the best steak I have had in Bangkok. I filled up the rest of the plate with lamb chops in Rosemary sauce. The Rosemary sauce is almost worth killing for and I would still have come to Marriott even if the only thing they had to offer was a barrel of the Rosemary sauce. I put the plate on the table and I went to get another plate of rolls and Parma ham. I discovered smoked salmon so I put a ton of smoked salmon on my plate. Before returning to my seat I stopped for some French Brie cheese.
I was sitting right next to the Mango Sticky rice table. I was full but I decided to try the mango
sticky rice. I didn't expect much, my favourite Mango sticky rice is still at Klingklao on Sukhumvit Soi 22. I had a plate of mango and a little rice and I poured a little of the coconut sauce over the plate.- MOTHEF@CKER!!! This was the best mango sticky rice ever!! DARN!
The Waiter asked if I liked the food and I told him that the mango sticky rice was very good.
- The best in town, he said.
- In the world, I said.
I was full, but content. Different story if I had chose one of the “eat as much as you can 99 Baht buffets. Then I would have been sick. But as Marriott keep a high quality I was content and full. I only eat buffet at two places, Marriott and the salmon buffet at Laxbutiken in Sweden.Well, anyway, the best mango sticky rice in the world and I'm pretty sure that I would have broken one or two or even three Thai laws if I would have left Marriott without having a second plate of mango sticky rice. And as I don't want to end up having trouble with the Police I had a second plate. This time I filled the plate with rice and I put the mango on top of the sticky rice.
I poured coconut sauce over the plate, the bowl went from full to almost empty and the sauce started to drip from my plate. I had planned to walk back home, but I took a taxi. I would never have made it back home by foot.
I had a shower and I was pretty much ready for bed, an early day tomorrow with Chakrit Muay
Thai School and Bangkok Fight Club. Luckily enough I don't look like I have been in a
fight anymore. I can still feel that I have used the epilator on my face, nothing serious, but I can feel it.I decided to bring the epilator onboard my next ship and I will do it onboard. Pure horror to get a shave when in Bangkok just to find out that I can't show myself outside for a few days due to that the epilator have trashed my face.
And of course, I think I have to give up shaving for a few days before using the epilator giving the machine a chance the grab the hair and rip it out by the root. And you don't want to walk around Bangkok looking like the yeti so again, I'm better off doing it onboard.

and if everything would have worked as plan I should have been in Manila on my DP advanced courses today. But I might take off to Manila for other courses soon. I sent an e-mail to Consolidated Sunday morning asking for a schedule for the IMO 80, Advanced Fire Fighting and Helicopter Landing Officer courses.And I hope that I get the information during the day, my e-mail must be the first e-mail they attend coming to work in Manila Monday morning. I mean, who else is sending e-mails on a Sunday? I will
hopefully soon be out of here leaving for Manila and San Miguel Light.I came to Chakrit Muay Thai School quarter past 12 or something like that. We got right on to the sparring and today I sparred with the other Teacher. And what a disappointment, he gave up after 2 rounds and I will call him Mr. “2 rounds” from now on. I did a few rounds of the mitts with the other Teacher before I walked back home.
I read my Thai books before I made my tomato & onion omelette. Monday and a new week so I hope I can follow my daily “read my Thai books” routines.
I was a few minutes late to Bangkok Fight Club. But I was not alone to be late, I meet one of the Thai guys at 7 Eleven when I bought my water.
We started with stretching and warm up before we started with some boxing techniques. I expected us to get started with the sparring when we were finished with the techniques and shadow boxing.

and I was dead tired when my alarm went off at 9 o'clock. I had decided to skip Chakrit Muay Thai School today and I will spend the time buying groceries at Tops
Market. I need egg, tomatoes and onions for my daily omelettes. And I'm also running low on pumpernickel.And I will stop for milk at my local 7 Eleven on my way back home and thus I don't have to carry the milk more than 50 meters. I might buy some other stuff at 7 Eleven as well.
I started at the pumpernickel shelf when I arrived to Tops Market. And I was pleasantly surprised, there was plenty pumpernickel and it would last me for a month. But, I was soon disappointed. The pumpernickel was displayed on top of an empty cardboard box so they only had 10 packs of pumpernickel. Well, better than nothing.
I bought 5 onions, 5 tomatoes and 20 eggs. Enough to make 5 omelettes and it will last me to the weekend when I will
hopefully leave for my courses on the Philippines. But no answers from the
schools and I was a wee bit annoyed. But then I heard on the news that they have a hurricane and flooding raging the country. So they might have more important stuff to
do than to answer my stupid e-mails.- Hmm, maybe I should do my training in Singapore? I will think about it
But I will call IDESS in Subic Bay tomorrow if I haven't received any answer by then. Singapore is nice for a weekend, but to spend two weeks in Singapore. Well, I prefer Philippines.
I did my Thai books when I came back home and I was ready at 5 o'clock and that gives me time to make my tomato & onion omelette before taking off to Bangkok Fight Club. And of course, it was raining when I left my
apartment. Well, it was more like a drizzle.But we have had heavy showers during the day and it sounded like they were throwing out buckets of water at times. So the drizzle was OK and as I
decided not to buy the Lady 750 when I bought my camera I could wear it around my neck during my walk to Bangkok Fight Club. And when I arrived I discovered a locked door and I was about to walk back home when I ran in to the boy from New Zealand.Our Teacher arrived and he showed us how to open the door and we went upstairs. The Swedish boy and the American girl were at the club when we arrived. Looks like there only will be the 4 of us, 1 girl and 2 children and I realised that there would be no sparring today. I donned my boxing shoes while our Teacher helped the children with
their wrappings.No sparring, but we
didn't had to do the Thai Navy exercise.We started today's session with foot work. We did a few exercises to improve our foot work before moved over to the punch bags. Speed
punches mixed with push ups.When we were ready
with the
push ups/ speed punch mix it was time for the “somersaults back and forth to the punch bag”
exercise. And when back at the punch bag we had to do speed punches.
And I had to jump like a frog, or more like anelephant.Second time we had to run up and down 9 times before we did the speed punches. Third time we finished with speed kicks.
Well, we had to jump back and forth on the right leg, swapping leg when we were back where we started. Then back and forth on the left leg and we had to run to the punch bag when we were back at start position. Spring knees and now we had to do some sparring.
But before we started with the sparring, well, what kind of sparring would this be? 2 children and one girl! Well, anyway, our Teacher went to bring the Bangkok Fight Club and he wanted me to
take some pictures. Of course I can take some pictures and when we were ready we did 5
rounds of sparring. The children were sparring with each other and I was with the American girl. She punched me so my ear rings flew through the club local like missiles.Well, the boy from New Zealand found my diamond/ ruby ear ring and as this is a boxing club
they have a well-stocked first aid box. I found a bottle of alcohol and I cleaned the ear ring before putting it back.I expected us to go home but our Teacher asked me if I could take some pictures of him kicking the bag.
- No problem, I will just put in a snus!

It is your favourite FarangI came home from the Thai boxing and I watched the news. My school at Roxas Avenue in Manila was the first thing I saw on BBC. Roxas Avenue looked like a Canal so this might be the reason for them not to reply to my e-mail.
Well, anyway, I realize that there will not be any school for me even if I want to. And I really don't want to go to Manila right now

and I was out of bed at 9 o'clock. Can't say that I jumped out of bed, but I managed to get up even though I was dead tired. Didn't feel asleep until almost 4 o'clock in the morning. I had my tuna and pumpernickel for breakfast and I was ready to leave for
Chakrit Muay Thai School at 11 thirty. I just
wanted to watch the news before leaving and I lay down on top off my bed.After 5 minutes I decided that it was too late for the boxing and I went to have lunch with my friend at KlingKlao on Sukhumvit Soi 22.
I arrived to KlingKlao quarter to
2 and I ordered my curry chicken stuff from Chiang Mai.Well, I didn't need to order, they already knew what I wanted to have for lunch. I always eat the same at KlingKlao. But when they brought a plate of mango sticky rice I asked my friend if he had ordered the mango.

I asked the Waitress and she was looking in to the kitchen and no one seems to know who ordered the mango sticky rice. For sure, I had not ordered the mango.
- OK, no problem, I take the mango sticky rice even if my diet suffers.
And as usually the food was very good a KlingKlao. My friend had ordered plenty stuff and he had
half of his food left when I was ready with my mango sticky rice.When he finished his food we took a taxi to Big-C where he would buy cheese. We found pumpernickel,
always good to know where you can find pumpernickel.But right now my fridge is full and I don't need any more pumpernickel. We went to the cashier and my friend stopped to buy M&M.
I could not believe my ducking eyes. He goes on and on about how he is not eating rice. During the meal it was
about me eating rice nonstop.- What the
? No rice but M&M chocolate and candy?Well, mango and M&M and some other snacks and I told him that he would
have been way better off adding some rice to his food back at KlingKlao on Soi 22.I walked to Emporium from Big C and I could hardly recognise Sukhumvit Soi 24. Last time I walked down this Soi there was President and Reffine. Now there were plenty new high risers and nice coffee shops and restaurants. The Fort was long gone. 13 years ago and this was the place to be seen and heard at. Well, I don't think anyone miss the place. And there was a pub at the president, and if I remember it right it was one of those places where they made their own beer. Maybe this place is still open, I didn't looked for the place so I don't know.
Well, it was nice to skip the boxing and to come out on the town. Otherwise my days are quite
boring, just walking between the boxing clubs and I never meet any people. And walking
down Soi 24 towards Emporium I saw one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen.I never meet any people during my boxing days, but my diet is a

He was also buying water for the training. When we stepped in to Bangkok Fight
Club our Teacher was practicing with the American girls. She has her fight in 2 weeks and I hope that I will be in Bangkok then.At least there was no e-mail from the training centre in Singapore so I might be in Bangkok when she has her first Thai Boxing match. There was one other Thai guy at the place so it looked
like there would just be the 4 of us. I had expected the British guy to come.Well, if there will be any sparring I can spar with
the guy from 7 Eleven. He had been around Bangkok Fight Club for quite some times so he is good with sparring. We started with the foot work drills, good, we never
had to do the Thai Navy exercises.We finished the foot work drills and we did a little
shadow boxing before it was time for the sparring.The American girl had to do the sparring with the new Thai guy and I did the old timer. 5 rounds and I were looking forward to it.
The sparring was fun and we finished the boxing
session with sit ups and it was 9 o'clock when we left Bangkok Fight Club.I had promised myself to stop drink the darn Diet MAX , but when I passed my local 7 Eleven I gave in and I bought two bottles of Diet MAX . I will
hopefully be able to pass 7 Eleven without any stops for Diet MAX
tomorrow. I spend more money on Diet MAX
than on food. Well, not if I include the restaurants, but a can of tuna and egg doesn't set me back by much.+++++++++++++++

and I was out of bed at 9 thirty. I checked my e-mail and there was nothing from Singapore. Well, maybe when I'm back home from Chakrit Muay Thai School. I come back home from a good session at Chakrit Muay Thai School and nothing from Singapore. I called them and they only had one course available. Well, I booked this course and I got a confirmation for the 10th of October 20 minutes later.But by then I had already found the courses in Malaysia, 1 and a half hour with taxi from Singapore. And I can to the courses back to back and they are approved by the Norwegian
Authorities. Double price comparing to Singapore and I expect double quality.Now I only wait for confirmation and dates so I can book my flight and hotel. 2 weeks in Malaysia and I think the training centre is located, well, I will call Malaysia and ask. I have no clue where the training centre is located. She told me that they would charge me 165US to pick me up by car at Singapore airport.
Yes, I called them and the girl at the training centre told me that the training centre was located at Johor Bahru. Well, I never asked her about the night life in Johor Bahru, but I guess that I can take a taxi to down town Singapore if it gets too boring in Johor Bahru. It is Falck Nutec
in Thailand that told me about this place when I called them to ask for STCW
95 courses. They don't have the STCW courses in Thailand, but Falck Nutec has the courses at MSTS Training Centre in Johor Bahru.I received my confirmation e-mail 30 minutes later and I see that the courses are not back to back. If I want to have any back to back courses I will have to wait until November. But I'm conformed on the course in Singapore on the 10 and I was lucky for the first time in my miserable life. YEAH, AFTER 150 YEARS IT WAS FINALLY MY TIME TO BE LUCKY.
The course that I would have to wait for was the course I was confirmed for in Singapore. So
no need to wait, I will just pop back to Singapore on Friday the 7th of October and I will have a few days of party and a good time before starting my course on Monday the 10th of October.I was in a good mood
when I
left for Bangkok Fight Club and I arrived a few minutes before 7. It was only one of our Thai friends there so it looked like we would only be the 2 of us.We had expected the American girl to be there and our Teacher had brought her outfit for her Muay Thai fight. And it looks like I will be back from Singapore in time to see her fight, how lucky am I today?
The American girl was 20 minutes late and our new friend from Mexico arrived 30 minutes late. We had expected him every day since Tuesday after he had been watching us last Monday.
Our Teacher nagged on two other guys from the other group that they should come to spar with us. I started a round with our Thai friend and then I took on the American guy.

.DARN! This was my last Diet MAX ! I opened the first bottle as soon as I stepped inside my kitchen and I enjoyed my Diet MAX while I booked my hotel in Malaysia and Singapore. But Thai Airways was full on my returning dates. This was a setback, I will call my travel Agent tomorrow and we will see what she can arrange. There was a flight available, leaving Singapore Saturday morning. And for sure, I will be in no state to take an early Saturday morning from Singapore.

and I didn't woke up until 11 thirty. DARN! My alarm went off at 9 and I just turned off my alarm and I felt asleep again and thus my day was f@cked up. I had to hurry up to get to Chakrit Muay Thai School to meet the Swedish guy. I had promised to bring some books for him and to miss this was no option.I did a few rounds with the mitts before I returned home. I was in a hurry to get a ticket to Singapore. There is a seat in Business class tomorrow afternoon, but coming back home is a different story. All is full and I'm on waiting list. I have an economy class confirmation, but I want to upgrade the Bangkok to Singapore leg and there will
hopefully be an cancellation in biz from
Singapore to Bangkok. Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon is not an option because I will try to make it to the American girl's fight.But she only thinks that it will be on Sunday the 16th, could as well be on the 15th and then I can as well stay in Singapore until Sunday.
My snus has arrived from Sweden, but as the Post office at Hualongpong close at 4 o'clock I would not make it in time. It was 15 thirty when I came back home from Chakrit Muay Thai School. I asked the Manager at the condo to call them and ask them to hold my parcel for 2 weeks.

Well, things start to fall to place, just to pack my bag. And yet again, is it possible for Aladdin to
come up with yet again another brilliant idea? I have several t-shirts that I have stored to
be used at rags, yeah, when cleaning windows and stuff. They are new, never used and now they are too big. I will bring 10 of them to Singapore, 10 days of training and I can throw away the t-shirts after use so I will not have to worry about laundry service.I made myself a tomato & onion omelette that I washed down with a pot of tea before going to pay for my ticket at my travel Agent on Soi 19 before it is time to go to Bangkok Fight Club for yet another fun session.
Obviously the American girl was upset about the picture on our Teacher's
Facebook page. I uploaded a pic with the comment that we were disappointed with her. Well, no one can express this better than our Teacher:- MAGGIE NO GOOD!
I took off towards Soi 19 by foot. When I reached Prasanmit Plaza the traffic was at a full stop and I was glad that I was walking. Would have taken me hours to get to Soi 19 in this traffic.
And as usually the motorcycle taxi drivers were directing the traffic. I don't know what it is with Thai people and cars. You see people directing traffic everywhere around Bangkok. And a year or
two ago it was really annoying when everyone was wearing a whistle. Oh, this darn whistle, is for sure nothing I miss.But it is fun, even today I can see some of these people reaching after their whistle when their fingers are itching to do some traffic direction duty. And the disappointment in their face when they realise that their whistle was confiscated priceless. But it is strange how the whistles disappeared from Bangkok almost like overnight. In the beginning they were waving red flags because they thought it was impossible to manage the traffic without the whistle. So the red flag had to do as a substitute. But I don't see any red flags anymore.
As soon as the motorcycle taxi drivers don't have anything to do they direct the traffic. Well, that is when they don't have any alcohol to drink, then they would of course be sitting down
drinking. I have seen this drivers sitting and drinking just to leave on the motorcycle when there has been a customer requiring their service.So now you know why I don't ride a motorcycle taxi in Bangkok, at least not when I'm sober.
I paid my ticket and I walked back home again and I will have time to enjoy a sip or two of Diet MAX before it is time to leave for Bangkok Fight Club.
There was a small drizzle and it was gloomy and grey so I won't be surprised if there will be heavy showers tonight. Well, I would never be surprised about a heavy shower at this time of the year. But the weather left me puzzled several time earlier this
year. Heavy showers in February and ice cold in March.I passed the restaurant on the corner at Prasanmit and the Waitress was sitting down relaxing.

So those times when she is attending a guest at the restaurant she drops everything and come running out on the side walk.

together and we managed to buy our water without turning the 7 Eleven in to a pandemonium.Last time with my Teacher and he managed to knock down all the plastic cups or whatever it was at the soda dispenser. The other day I managed to clear the whole shelf with my boxing gloves hanging around my neck down on my back.
We could leave the 7 Eleven without incidents and we meet the British guy coming in to buy water at 7 Eleven when we left.
The American girl and our Thai friend were waiting for us outside the club and we were soon ready to start today's session. No stupid Thai Navy exercise yesterday and there will
hopefully not be any today. Why do I mention the Thai Navy exercise every day? Well, they are not bad, but I really like the
picture of Smiley jumping up and downflapping arms and legs. So now you know the reason for me to mentioning the Thai Navy exercises.We started with foot work and we were kneeing the bags before we started the sparring. It was almost 8 thirty when we finished the sparring and I expected us to go home. But now it was time for the somersaults. I refused so I had to do push ups. Then we had to do something that was called the crocodile before we did the sit ups. And it was almost 9 o'clock before we left and I walked back home to pack my weekend bag. I will bring my t-shirts in a plastic bag and I hope I can check in the bag on my flight tomorrow. This t-shirts will for sure not come back with me when I return to Thailand.
