Friday 26 ^th of April 2019 and I wake up around 4 o´clock and there is no sounds from any lekking Capercaillie. I was disappointed, I really had been hoping to see some Capercaillie. But I guess it is too late as all the females have their eggs now.

And the time was very slow from 4 o´clock to 8 o´clock. I sent and SMS to my Guide that he could come to pick me up at 8 o´clock.

I packed my stuff, disappointed with the Capercaillie Lek but happy that this was my last night in a tent. I was of course very happy with the Black Grouse and the moose. Nothing less than fantastic!

I walk back to the parking and I keep an eye out for birds while waiting for my Guide and I was happy when I spotted my Guide coming. Will be nice to get back to Ramnäs Hotell & Konferens for a shower and breakfast, hot tea, I cannot wait.

My Guide stopped next to me and he told me to hurry up and get into the car, he had spotted a lekking Capercaillie a few hundred meters down the road. One single male but when we came the bird was hiding behind a rock, DARN!
