and I left Fallängetorp för folk och fä just before 6 o'clock in the morning. I was soon realizing that I had forgot my glasses so I had to drive slowly. I got daylight around 7 thirty and it was easier to drive.
I found my Guide and we took off towards Kittan, Rönnbacken and we reached the place at 8 o'clock and I could see birds from the road.

Approaching Kittan, Rönnbacken
We were very lucky today, normally they have to walk 1200m from the main road to reach Kittan, Rönnbacken. And then we have to walk in deep snow. My Guide had brought a group a few years ago and they had to call a snow mobile to get to Kittan, Rönnbacken.
My Guide was surprised today when he discovered that the dirt road to Kittan, Rönnbacken was
cleared of snow. This was the first time he had ever seen this. So we could drive all the way to Kittan, Rönnbacken.
So we were very lucky as the thermometer showing -19°C to -24°C so it was very cold, and it would have been very cold to walk through the snow.

I was very happy with this birding spot and I had seen two birds that I had never seen before, the Siberian Jay and the Crested Tit. And we had BBQ sausages and the car was parked 10 meters from the birding spot. I had been to the car one time to turn on the heat.
We drove to the rapids in Gysinge to look for birds. But we started by drinking tea and having a cake at a coffee shop. Then we went to the rapids and we spotted a couple of birds, but no good pictures. And yet another bird I never seen before, the White-throated Dipper.
