Passing L'Elephant
I finished my meal at 3 Nagas, and I asked for a plate of Spring rolls to finish my dinner. The food was so good. Lao food, I can't remember having ever eating anything better than Lao food outside Skåne.
I started with Spring rolls and then I had chicken in red curry and coconut milk with steamed rice (2 bowls) I had also ordered a plate with buffalo sausage. Seriously, I'm already looking forward to my next VISA run so I can come back to Luang Prabang. Lunch at L'Elephant and dinner at 3 Nagas and you have a winner.
Dinner at 3 Nagas
These Lao spring rolls are right up there with the Swedish spring rolls at Österns Pärla

You don't want to miss 3 Nagas when in Luang Prabang
Buffalo sausages
Yes, I just had to try the buffalo after having seen buffaloes earlier during the day

JOMA Cafe
I went inside JOMA Cafe and the first thing I see is the Mango Crumble. I also see that the only table inside are occupied. They have tables on the second floor, but I want to sit at the counter keeping an eye on things.
I leave again and I turn around looking at the girl at the table. I give her the “what the foock” glimpse. Yes, she have all the right to sit there, but she only had a glass of water and a laptop. So I suspected that it was a free loader sipping on a glass of water for hours while using free internet.
I gave the Manager, maybe she was the owner as well the “why the foock are these people sitting around occupying space without spending anything?” glimpse before I left. Then the Manager (maybe the owner) said:
- Oh, that is my colleague, do you want her to move
- Ah, never mind, let her sit and your only customer (that orders all the extras and triple of everything) leaves. Seems like a smart business plan. Actually, I don't mind you bringing all your friends to come eat for free so there is nothing for the customer to buy, I said and left.
Yeah, I'm sure they are on to something at JOMA Cafe and one thing is for sure, I will never go back to JOMA Cafe again!
I left and I started to walk toward the night market, my plan was to turn around there and walk back to L'Elephant to see if they had pancakes. Not the American styled fried sponge cake. But what they call crepes in USA.
Walking towards the Night Market
It is good to get old
Instead of making a tit out of myself in a bar I'm practicing night photography
I reach the Night Market
I take a few pictures of the temple before walking back to L'Elephant
Approaching L'Elephant
Too much customers at L'Elephant and I skip the idea with pancakes
I don’t want to expose the other guests to my eating disturbances
I go back to my room passing some shops
