Monday 13 th
of July 2015
and I woke up around 8 o'clock, almost 12 hours of sleep. I was not happy as I really wanted to have a shower but I was for sure not going out to one of the “common” showers. I got dressed in the same clothes as yesterday and I went for breakfast. My group left for their hike and I bought a 24 hours internet pass and I returned to my room.
I updated my web page and I went for a shower as I heard that they had finished the cleaning of the showers. I left my hotel for a constitutionalaround the settlement.
I don't call it a village, it is a settlement and if you’re interested in how a Greenlandic settlement looks like, just have a look at the below pictures

There was some organ music from the green house that I could hear over the whole settlement
No one is working around here so what else to do?

Back at the hotel
Back at the hotel and I returned at the same time with a guy from Denmark. He had been out collecting stones and we had a look at his stones while enjoying the sunshine. It was abeautiful afternoon, I think the best day since I left Bangkok.
I was getting hungry and the dinner situation was not better than yesterday and I left the dinner having decided to come back little later when the people had left.
No way am I going to sit in this military canteen with people all over the place leaving no room to eat. I went back to my room. Our Guide was on my door all the time worried. He offered to bring food to my room. I told him that I would be back later on when there were some space at the tables. He was soon backwith water and I told him to take a chill pill. I would be there in 10 minutes or so.
When I went for dinner half of the guests were gone and I got my seat and I had a very good dinner. The food have been very good here. Well, we will leave tomorrow and I asked for a 7 o'clock wake up call for tomorrow. We will leave at 8 thirty and we will walk to the harbour where a boat is waiting for us to take us to Qaqortoq.
We will make a stop to have a look at some Viking remains on the way and it promise to be an interesting trip. Whales? Who knows? You just need to click HERE
