OK, it has come to my knowledge that we have senior citizens visiting my web page. How hard can it be? So it's not very easy for them to see the blue coloured links to the next page.

Tiger safari and bird watching in Sundarbans

Monday 12 ^th of March 2018 and my alarm went off at 4. I had packed yesterday so I could spend the time checking my pictures from yesterday. I brought my bag and I was on board the boat 5 minutes before 6 o'clock. There was a Collared Kingfisher sitting in a tree singing good bye to us.

Sitting down and the bottle of MAX that I keep in my back pocket falls out and rolls over board ending up on the mud flats. But our nimble helms Man was soon hanging on the side of the boat saving my bottle. We can leave Sundarban Riverside Holiday Resort for our morning safari.

We leave Sundarbans Tiger Reserve and we expect it to take about one hour to reach Gadkhali, Gateway to Sundarbans. So we will have lunch on the way, my last lunch and I had asked for cabbage, cauliflower and potato curry. And freshly made Roti. I have changed from Paratha to Roti as there is no oil in the Roti.

The food have been excellent during my days here in Sundarban and now it is time for my last lunch here on the boat. I have really liked to sit on the fore deck enjoying the scenery while eating my breakfast and lunch.

We stepped ashore in Gadkhali, leaving the beautiful Sundarban behind. No tigers, but just to cruise along the channels in the Ganges Delta is an experience I would not wanted to have missed.
