E ni Svenskar och inte förstår Engelska så ska ni skämmas. J och Björn, med det menar jag inte att alla mina stavfel ska ältas varje gång vi träffas.
Well, the flag of Skåne, just a BONUS flag.
Sunday 1stof October 2017and twat man was not here to pick me up at 7 o'clock. I was disappointed, what an idiot! I decided to walk the small walk path from the Vava'u Villa to a smallbeach. The walk path is going through the forrest and I hope to see birds on my way through the forest.
I ran in to millions of flies at the restaurant, a garbage bin was laying on the ground with garbage all over the place, NICE! The cleanness of the place really leaves a lot to wish for.

Breakfast should be including in the price, but breakfast turns out to be nothing but toast, fruit and some cereals. Could as well have been a bowl of sugar only. I had tea and I had a chat with the people in my group. The dad and his two children. Another guy from Sweden, the guy I was supposed to sit next to in FUJI Airways excellent business class. And we had a lady from US of A, she is usually going to Dominican Republic to swim with the whales, but she have heard that it is better here on Vava'u.
I left Vava'u Villa walking towards the beach on the other side of the forest. The Tonga Whistler and the Many coloured fruit Dove. I could hear many Tongan Whistlers on my way to the beach and I saw a few doves, just flying by. So there was a lot of birds, but no pictures.
The beach, well, it was not a beach swimming at, and there is a fish that can kill you if you step on it. I have forgotten the name of the fish, but it lays on the bottom, and when you step on it.

I walked back to Vava'u Villa and I heard the Tongan Whistler, but no sign of the bird. Back at Vava'u Villa and I spotted a Kingfisher sitting on the wire. I went to try to get a picture, but the bird was very scared.
Polynesian Triller was seen on the road, 2 of them chasing each other, but the pictures were not any good even though I spent a lot of time chasing them through the bushes.
Twat Man never came to pick me up so I was disappointed. A few hours rest and I was off for more birding in the afternoon. Walking down Fatafehi Road towards Neiafu. I turn right on the first road walking down towards the water front. There was a lot of Polynesian wattled honeyeaters and Polynesian Starlings
I walk up the dirt road and I pass a grave yard. There are stairs down to a cave that I never checked out. I continued on the dirt road until I came to the dead end. Beautiful properties with many birds, at least I heard many birds but I never went in on the private properties.
I walk back down towards the Fatafehi Road. I see the Polynesian Starling and this time I'm lucky and I get some pictures of the bird sitting in the top of a pole singing beautifully.

I was lucky, I managed to get a video of the bird singing before the bird disappeared. I continued the walk and I turned right before reaching the Fatafehi Road. I walk down the street and at the end I turn left and I'm on Fatafehi Road. I leave the Fatafehi Road walking up a dirt road looking for a Crimson-crowned fruit dove that I could hear.
I had no luck with the Crimson-crowned fruit dove and no luck with the other birds I could hear in the area. I walked back to the Fatafehi Road and I walked back to vava'u Villa.

I could not believe my luck, coming back to Vava'u Villa and I see a Crimson-crowned fruit dove sitting in a tree. I work with the dove for quite a while as she is flying between the trees before I can get a picture. So I was happy when I went for the pizza and pasta night at Vava'u Villa. Tomorrow and it is time to go look for Humpback whales, the van leave at 06:45 and you just need to clickHEREto find out if I have any luck with the Humpback whales.
