Last Friday my Teacher told me that I was the most famous student in school.
- All the Teachers and students know you!
This was nothing I wanted to hear so I decided to change school. And of course, telling my “LIFE COACH” wasn't a very bright idea. He went on and on about how good he was and how bad I was.
Sunday was spent in bed watching movies drinking water and banana & mango smoothie. And of course, impossible to fall asleep before 3 o'clock in the morning. 
before leaving for school in a taxi. Yeah, coming to a new school and I didn't want to come there sweaty so I did it with a taxi. And when I came out of the elevator the Security Guard took the chairs I had borrowed last Saturday. Good, these Security Guards are always very helpful.I could not start my new school today.
- We need one day to prepare for you.
So I will start tomorrow and this time I signed up under the name PELLE PLUTT. This time I will make sure not to be the most famous student and if I hint anything like it I will just scram.

And I'm out of there.
There are plenty schools around here so I can keep this up for a
long time. And who knows, they might have forgot me at Walen in a year or so. Well, anyway, no school today so I decided to go to the Department of Consular Affairs, Legalization Division at Chaengwattana Road.I spent the whole day at Chaengwattana Road. I started at the Department of Consular Affairs. I handed them my translation of my passport and of course this was not good.
Last time they told me that I had to go to the
Swedish Embassy to get a stamp on my passport copy. Now I was back and this time I needed a translation of the stamp from the embassy.

I went down to the first floor and they had a translation service at the book store. I expected them to translate this stamp in a minute or two.

Loy Krathong
is held on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In the western calendar this usually falls in November.
"Loi" means "to float". "Krathong" is a raft about a hand span in diameter traditionally made from a section of banana tree trunk (although modern-day versions use specially made bread 'flowers' and may use Styrofoam), decorated with elaborately-folded banana leaves, flowers, candles, incense sticks etc. During the night of the full moon, many people will release a small raft like this on a river. Governmental offices, corporations and other organizations also build much bigger and more elaborate rafts, and these are often judged in contests. In addition, fireworks and beauty contests take place during the festival.
Letting a Khom Fai float in to the air at the Loi Kratong festival in Mae Jo Thousands of Khom Fai in Mae JoThe festival probably originated in India as a Hindu festival similar to Deepavali as thanksgiving to the deity of the Ganges with floating lanterns for giving life throughout the year. According to the writings of H.M. King Rama IV in 1863, the originally Brahmanical festival was adapted by Buddhists in Thailand as a ceremony to honour the original Buddha, Siddhartha Guatama. Apart from venerating the Buddha with light (the candle on the raft), the act of floating away the candle raft is symbolic of letting go of all one's grudges, anger and defilements, so that one can start life afresh on a better foot. People will also cut their fingernails and hair and add them to the raft as a symbol of letting go of the bad parts of oneself. Many Thai believe that floating a krathong will create good luck, and they do it to honour and thank the Goddess of Water, Phra Mae Khongkha.
The beauty contests that accompany the festival are known as "Noppamas Queen Contests". According to legend, Noppamas was a consort of the Sukothai king Loethai (14th century) and she was the first to float decorated krathongs. The Loi Krathong festival is also associated with the start of vegetable carving.
The Thai tradition of Loy Kratong started off in Sukhothai, but is now celebrated throughout Thailand, with the festivities in Chiang Mai and Ayutthaya being particularly well known.
In Chiang Mai Loi Kratong is also known as "Yi Peng". Every year thousands of people assemble to float the banana-leaf krathong onto the waterways of the city, honouring the Goddess of Water. A multitude of Lanna-style sky lanterns (khom fai) are also launched into the air where they resemble large flocks of giant fluorescent jellyfish gracefully floating by through the skies. These are believed to help rid the locals of troubles and are also taken to decorate houses and streets.
Kelantan also has the same celebration, especially in the Tumpat area. The ministry in charge of tourism in Malaysia recognises it as an attraction for tourist. Many people visit the celebration each year.

I was about to just give a shit about the visa. Well, I still had to kill some time before I could pick up my translation at the Legalization Division at Chaengwattana Road. So I went down in the basement and I made the copies and my 2 class mates were still waiting when I came back with my copies.
I did the paperwork and they told me to sit down and wait.
- It will take us about an hour.
Well, no chance that I will sit down here wasting my time. I took a taxi back to the Legalization Division at Chaengwattana Road. I picked up my translation and I went up on the 3rd floor.
Well, this time the accepted my paperwork and they asked me to sit down and wait. We will be ready around 4 o'clock.
- FAT CHANCE!!I'm off to the immigration to pick up my passport.
I took a taxi back to the Government Complex and by now they recognised me at the security check and the volunteer girls at the immigration recognised me as well.- Hmm, maybe my “LIFE COACH” was right when I mentioned what the Teacher said about me being the most famous student at school.
Well, I went for a lunch at Chester's Grill at the Government Complex. Lunch turned out to be a waste of money. I had to leave it behind, it tasted anything but good. Then I walked around in the basement for about 30 minutes before I went up to the immigration. When I
arrived, exactly one hour after I left last time and my passport was ready at the same second I stepped in to their office.Leaving the Government Complex, going back to the Legalization Division at Chaengwattana Road, yeah, its e never ending story.
I was looking for a taxi when the security guard pointed at a bus.- There is a shuttle bus!
- Where does the bus goes?
- Pak soi.
Good, I got on the bus and they dropped me at the Chaengwattana Road, 3 minutes walk from the Legalization Division. My documents were ready and I could take a
taxi back home. Amazing how the days disappear here in Bangkok.Yet another day coming to an end. I only had time for a quick cuppa and a “TUNA SURPRISE” before going to Lumpini Park and the Loy Krathong festivities. The traffic
on Sukhumvit was at a full stop and it took me about 1 hour to get to the night market where my Italian EX class mate and his girl friend was waiting for me.I found them at the food court and we had a smoothie before we left for the Lumpini park. It's a 5 minutes' walk and we stopped to buy the Loy Krathong rafts at the entrance to the park. It was crowded and everyone had a Loy Krathong raft. I hope they are made of organic materials and not by plastic.
Millions of them and all the plastic will make quite an impact on the environment.

I didn't want to be “THE DIFFICULT GUY” so I said yes. And of course, if our hero is not
“ THE DIFFICULT GUY” he will soon turn in to “THE CHARISMA MAN”

Tiger Beer has one beer garden. Yeah, Tiger Beer is very
good. And they have light beer so it means a good beer with less calories.Well, of course, the one beer bull shit didn't last very long. We were tipsy before very soon. And the beer garden is actually more like a giant living room with a stage where a band was plying.
We were sitting on sofas and everything was designed as a giant Tiger ad. There was big chandelier made out of tiger beer bottles. And what the hell happened with the time. They were soon closing and I was drunk.
Last time I was drinking beer at the beer garden outside world trade centre was some 10 years
ago. Back then there was only one bathroom the queue was so long so you would have pissed
yourself before it was your turn. So I used to go down the garage to have a piss.It is still the same, I mean, I go for a piss in the garage. But now they have built toilets down there.
- Hmm, maybe it was me pioneering this??!!
Well, anyway, the toilets are the kind, yeah, you know. You must be drunk otherwise you just don't want to go there.It was about time to leave and by now I had passed the POINT OF NO RETURN. Yes, POINT OF NO RETURN is used in the aviation industry. When you have passed a mark on the runway there is only one option: to go for it! And my POINT OF NO RETURN is somewhere around 2 or
3 beers.But I had no money so I needed to go home to get money before continuing. Monday night and you don't expect much action on town. Well, this is FUNKY TOWN and there is always something going on. Narcissus was dead, I guess they had their days 15 years ago. Now it's redecorated and frankly, it's kind of boring. So I took a taxi to RCA and there was plenty action.
2 o'clock and that's it. Now we had to go to an early morning disco and that's the places where many of the prostitutes are hanging out and it's not very funny. But I meet a guy and he told me that we could go and open up his bar on Soi 53. At least I think he said Soi 53, I don't know. So we got in to his car, 2 beautiful girls in the back. At least I remember them as beautiful.
But luckily enough I ended up at home and I think they continued to one of the early morning discos.
Tuesday 3 rd of November 2009 and I woke up with a hangover. The first thing I discovered was that my changing school and name plan had turned out to a disaster. My Teacher had called my Italian EX class mate this morning.
- Where is Aladdin?
Turned out that I would have the same Teachers at my new school. The Teachers change between Walen and TLS, at least 3 of them.
- Hmm, and how did they know it's me? I changed my name.Well, as the Teacher said.
- They call you Mr. Plutt.
Well, she asked if I was coming to school tomorrow and she asked if I wanted to join her and my
other Teacher for lunch.- Yeah, I will take you to Marriott.
- OK, I will wait for you and your Teacher at the ground floor.
I spent my afternoon in bed and when my friend arrived
it was time for a beer. I didn't felt very good due to my late night out yesterday. But after a few bottles of beer I felt like a million and after yet another few bottles I ready to go out among other people.We decided to go down to Soi 53 to see if we could find the bar the half German guy had. I have no clue of the name or where it is. But I think I remember him saying that it was on Soi 53.
- Yeah, I know, it's a lot of sois this and that.At the first place they wouldn't let my friend in with his shoes. And I had told
him to get rid of his darn GOODMORNING BOOTS more than one time. Actually I have told him several times.- Looks like you're on an f@cking beach guard convention!
But they told him that he could rent shoes across the street. Well, we remember the BLACK SEXY PARTY and my Italian EX class mate's rented shoes.
And believe me, it's not any nice shoes they have for rent. But they still look better than the GOODMORNING BOOTS. And the shoes are only coming in the size small.
When I came out we had a beer at the RENT A SHOE place and when we finished we went to FUNKY VILLAS. Same story, no slippers allowed inside.
with orange juice in front of us.Weekdays, much better than the weekends. Friday and Saturday there is so much people so it's impossible to move. But during the weeks is perfect, not too much people and it's possible to mingle. When you order your drink it doesn't take an hour before you get it. So maybe I should start look for a weekend school and have my days off during the week instead.
It didn't take long to finish the Bacardi and by then we were quite drunk. So we returned home
and yet again I was glad to have the security guards back home. They had to lift my friend out of the taxi, on to a trolley so we could get him in to my guestroom. How do I know? My camera, I don't remember when we came home, but I managed to get some pictures. But you will never see them on this page.
Wednesday 4 th of November 2009 and believe me when I say that getting out of bed was not very
fun. Hangover force 9,8 and I had to call my Teacher first thing. Well, almost thefirst thing. I had to take a fist full of B-12s and Ginseng with a few litres of water.
- I will be late for class.
- What's the problem?
- I think I have a slight cold coming.I skipped my GOOD MORNING tea and the “TUNA SURPRISE” . I decided to go to 7-11 and
buy some milk. Actually milk is something of the best that happened to FYLLE GUBBEN and I'm grateful to my friend that gave me the advice when we meet in Seoul.Yeah, the milk turned out to be a real life saver at Seoul International. I was about to die when I decided to try out the milk trick. Saved my life and it was pretty much the
same in Taipei. So why change a winning concept?I stopped at 7-11 on Soi 12 and I got my milk and water. I took the 2 minutes' walk back to school and went up on the 14th floor where I ripped open the milk bottles. My Teacher got big eyes.
- ARE YOU DRINKING MILK?- Why are you so quiet today?
- Well, you use to complain that I talk too much, I answered.
OK, I wasn't so chatty today and I blame the hangover. And of course I was very happy when it was 1 o'clock and time to go down to meet the other Teacher.
much. Well, I guess that's life, no matter what you do and blah-blah-bla.Well, it was fun having lunch with my Teachers and suddenly it was 15:30. Almost 2 and a half hour of lunch. I have never spent so much time at Marriott before. But, well, of course, when you're there with 2 beautiful girls' time turns quick.
Back home I spent the rest of the afternoon in bed watching DVD. I also have reason to be worried. Coming home and I discovered an invitation to a birthday party next week. Can our hero stick to drinking diet drink only? Or will he manage to make a total tit
out of himself YET again?Later on in the evening I went for dinner at a restaurant on Soi 5. My friend asked why I didn't took any pictures of him today.
- Today I look very good with nice shoes and shirt!

Thursday 5 th of November 2009 and I had not been sleeping for long when my alarm went off. My class mate called at 07:30 to tell me that he wasn't coming to afternoon school this afternoon. I had my morning tea and an omelette before leaving for school. The day turned out to be a pretty good one, 2 schools and gym. Well, in the evening I got a slight fever
and in stayed in bed.Friday 6 th of November 2009 and I was tired when my alarm went off even though I managed to
fall asleep at 1 o'clock this morning. I spent last night in bed watching DVD with a slight Sober up

School was fun as always, I was running in to my Teacher in the
elevator and she had bought water for me. She is so nice! I and my friend had discussed a trip over the weekend. The aim was to get to see the country side and no party or drinking. Yeah, we even got a stupid name for the trip: Sober up '09!So I packed my weekend bag first thing when I got home from school. School books, a novel, swimming trunks, my underwater camera and a few shirts. No
hangover cure, we expect to swim and do sightseeing. There will be 5 of us going, including 2 girls that I never meet before.I was just finishing packing when a guy came to visit. I have not seen him for a few years and he arrived to Bangkok this very morning. He had time for 2 beers before it was time for me to leave with my friends. And my friend was all over me about my web page and me taking pictures.
Yeah, there was nothing stopping him. He refused to leave me alone and he went on and on:

OK, finally we were ready to leave FUNKY TOWN. We said BYE BUE to our Swedish friend. He will go to Japan tomorrow and he will be back in FUNKY TOWN next week. We took the Rama III and we encountered a light afternoon traffic so we were soon on the Rama
IX bridge. Luckily enough we managed to get underway before the heavy Friday afternoon traffic kicked in. If we would have ended up in the Friday afternoon gridlock it would have taken us hours to get out of town.We were making good speed down the high way and I got a few nice pictures when we passed over the Rama IX bridge. But it didn't take me that long to realize that I had got the wrong packing with me for this tour. As I found out, this Sober up '09 was not was I thought it should be.

We stopped somewhere on Rama II and I went to the
7-11 for a diet drink. When I was at 7-11 the other went to Mc Donald's. I'm on diet so I stick to the diet drinks, but I had a fag
while they were shopping at Mc Donald's.Next stop was for gas and then it was straight up towards Kanchanaburi on highway 323 some 150 km WNW of FUNKY TOWN.
We expect it to take about 2 to 3 hours to get there including stops and stuff.
we had plenty good music. And we were playing loud.And my friend in the back he was changing songs every 30 seconds.
- OK, I TAKE CHARGE OF THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE!! I said.
I found some good ol' punk rock and we had it blasting in the car. When we were finished with the punk rock we turned on some Isarn music. Time turned quick and when we arrived to Kanchanaburi we stopped at a drug store and I
could buy my hangover stuff. Of course, I had forgotten my MAGIC HAIR stuff back home. But 2 days without the stuff will not make a difference, at least I hope so.Parking our car and it took 13 seconds for the porter to get to our car. He loaded our weekend luggage on the luggage cart. Maybe a wee bit too much to use the luggage cart. Yeah, it looked stupid.
Hotel River Kwae, yes, it's spelled River Kwai in English. But it's an ae in Thai and if you look for Sapan Kwai you will end up in Bangkok. The river here is named Kwae and noting else.
and I and my friend made an appointment in 10 minutes.- See you in 10 minutes at the River Kwae Cowboy Bar.

My sober friend wanted to take a rest so he and the girls would show up later on.
I got my shower and when I opened my weekend bag I could not help laughing.
- What the hell did I pack? This is not my party equipment!
Well, never mind, I had the most important stuff from the drugstore. When I was ready I went next door and we went down to the bar.
We ordered
a beer and it didn't take long before we had the Hip Hop from Skåneblasting through the trees in the hotel bar.When our friend arrived half an hour later we had finished 5 big bottles of beer and the spirit was high. We were impressed by our friend when he ordered a bottle of water.
Of course, and I understand my friend. Skånsk Hip Hop blasting high on the Richter scale and his friends are all tipsy and are laughing. Of course he wanted to have a beer.

and poured out the beer before he had a chance to taste the beer. I poured a glass of water for him.We continued to drink beer while he was drinking water. My music treasure was still blasting high when my friend said:
- F@CK IT!!!!!!! I will have a beer.
He poured a glass of beer and he was just about to taste it.

He gave it a quick thought and he handed me the glass.

After, well, I think it was 10 big bottles of beer we
asked them to call a taxi for us. We wanted to get down to the bridge over the River Kwae and a restaurant along the river.When the taxi, well, it was a pickup with benches,
arrived we were well passed tipsy. It took 10 or 15 minutes to get down to the river and the bridge.We had a few pictures at the bridge, but it was too dark and the interest was lost before soon.
-OK, let's go eat!
We had a table next to the water and 2 minutes later we had a bottle of wine on the table.

the restaurant in to the taxi. He felt on the floor
on the way to the door and we had to lift him up from the floor.Coming back to the hotel and I went to the disco in the hotel and the other went to bed. Yeah, how stupid can I get?
More wine at the disco. It didn't take me a minute before I had the first bottle in front of
me. I must learn to take control over my intakes, when I get started there is nothing stopping me.When I arrived there were no people at the disco but it didn't take long before it started to get crowded. I had 2 bottles of wine and a big beer or two.
I was what we call Abefull in Skånewhen I left the disco. I made the mistake to pass through the restaurant when going to my room. LITTLE ITALY is in Bangkok 150 km away. But obviously it's hard to dodge the Italian food. I ordered spaghetti with bacon and olives, the best to eat before bed time.
Saturday 7 th of November 2009 and I woke up at 8 o'clock. DARN! It took me over an hour to get
out of bed and the first thing I did was to cross the street to the7-11. I bought milk and I returned to my room.I skipped the included breakfast buffet in the restaurant,
I don't want to mix with people today. And who knows? How many of the people at the breakfast had seen me at the disco
a few hours earlier?- For sure, I don't want to find out!
So I brought my milk straight to my room and I spent the morning watching BBC, drinking
milk and water like there was no tomorrow.I knocked on my friend's door and we went down to the restaurant, the buffet was over and we were all alone. Nice, we ordered omelette and tea (my friend had coffee) and we enjoyed the morning. Well, that is until the hangover started to come sneaking up on me.
The hangover grew worse and worse by the minute. Darn, what happened with our Sober up '09 tour? This is not what I had planned. I would have been better of back home in FUNKY TOWN going to the gym and doing homework.
Well, we spent the last hour in my friend's room drinking water and discussing where to go. I was silently hopping that someone would suggest FUNKY TOWN. FUNKY TOWN was mentioned, but I just heard something about living on a raft somewhere far away from civilization.
OK, it sounded a little exciting so I was all for it. We brought our bags to the reception so we could check out.
- Do you want to see the bridge?
- Ah, no, I had enough of the River Kwae
bridge yesterday.- But it can be nice to see the darn thing in day light!
- OK. let's go take a look.We turned off the highway and down towards the bridge. When we came down to the bridge the place was crowded with tourists, maybe 50 50 foreigners and Thai tourists.
And of course, where there are tourists there are people trying to sell stuff. So the phrase
“I have no money” comes in handy every now and then.We had to wait for the train to go out on the
bridge before we could go out on the darn thing. We walked about 25 meters before we turned around. Hot and a hangover and we could not see the meaning with crossing the bridge. I took a picture of my friends with the restaurant we had our dinner yesterday in the back.

- Nah, let's move out of here!We returned to the car and we took off towards the Burmese border, 150 km to the NW. By now the hangover had kicked in we drove around looking for a drugstore. We had left the city of
Kanchaburi behind before we found a drug store. We stopped to buy B-12 vitamins and C vitamins.Well, I took a fistful of B-12 and I don't know if it helped. It didn't felt any better. We were heading NW on highway #323 and I must say that I'm very impressed by the roads in Thailand. Same with the highway to Isarn, excellent. I was a little sceptic about the roads with the sidewalks in Bangkok in mind. They redo the sidewalks every second year or so and they are still terrible to walk on. So I prefer to walk on the streets.

I didn't need to ask, I just knew that here was nothing to do.

I don't remember the name of the village, but after consulting a map I'm pretty sure we were at Thong Pha Phum. But there was a 7-11, the last one until we're on our way back. So I took the opportunity to buy a diet drink. I got a little worried when my friends started to by shampoo, toothpaste and stuff.

are we?At least for me it looked like we were lost in the middle of nowhere. But lo and behold, we passed a small sign and we turned off the road ending up at a place with many small houses. It took some time before I discovered the hoses because they we hidden between trees and bushes.
When we came down to the waterfront there was a guy coming out from the main building. We got out of the car and he showed us 3 huts. They hut were nice inside, AC, bathroom and 2 beds. Everything was made of wood so it really felt like the country side. Of course, I expected to run in to a snake every time going to the bathroom.
- Hmm, maybe to pop a Rohypnol.I went down to the restaurant and I ordered fried rice with chicken, water and a diet drink. The sun was about to set, but it was still very hot. And insects, there were millions of them and I was soon busy scratching myself all over.
Well, while we were sitting there having our dinner there were more and more cars coming. The guy was busy showing the guests to their huts. Plenty Bangkokians coming to the country side over the weekend. Good business, but I guess it's pretty empty during the weeks.
Sunday 8 th of November 2009 and I was reading my book when my friend knocked on the door.
- Time to get up Motherf@cker!Nice, finally time to get home. I took a shower and
there was only cold water. There was a water heater outside. Well, at least it looked like a water heater. There was a gas bottle connected to it and I really didn't bother trying to get hot water.Well, at least I saved water, it was not a very long
shower. I packed my bag and I left the hut. Opening my door and I took a few pictures of the view. It was beautiful to come out in the jungle, beautiful, but I'm in no hurry coming back. I'm a city guy and places like this bore me to death.I took a few pictures outside my hut before going down for my breakfast. And of course, when at
places like this I made a lot of noises making sure scaring away all the snakes around me. I don't want to end up dead
here.

OK when you took out the tomatoes. Fried tomatoes are not one of my favourites.No sign of the other guests, well, the table behind us was covered in used dishes so obviously someone had had their breakfast at the table. But who wants' to get up early on a Sunday morning?

the dam, but after looking at a map on internet and I'm pretty sure the name is Khao Laem reservoir after looking at the pictures. And I think the nature reserve has the same name, Khao Laem. But I'm not sure. I didn't know the location until I came home so I could look it up on a map.We saw a caravan at the dam, first time any of us had seen a caravan in Thailand. But I can imagine that it will be hot to live in a caravan without the AC.

minutes watching them and after 15 minutes the excitement had worn off so we left.3 to 4 hours to FUNKY TOWN and we want to reach FUNKY TOWN before the evening when the traffic picks up. Kanchanaburi is a popular place for Thai people to be over the weekend and they return Sunday afternoon
and then you can spend hours in the traffic.I arrived home between 4 and 5 o'clock in the afternoon. We had been hauling arse and we were home in good time even though we had made several stops for diet drinks etc.
I took a shower and I was off to Villa Market on Soi 11 to buy stuff to make meatballs. I'm fed up with my tuna and I will change the tuna for meatballs. I also bought a container so I can make some meatballs for my Teacher. I will bring the meatballs to school tomorrow morning. So I hope they turn out OK, or it will be great embarrassmentnext time I meet her. Monday 9 th of November 2009 and its 20 years ago the Berlin wall felt. Yeah, I guess it has been
hard to avoid with everything about the Berlin wall on the news.
But it's scary, 20 years and I remember it like it was yesterday.For sure, time turns quick. I remember me in my student home 9th of November 2009. The wall is coming down and me and one other guy living in the student home takes the ferry down to Germany. It takes about 12 hours to go from Gothenburg to
Kiel. From there we took the train and back then we had to pass the border control between West and
East Germany to reach West Berlin.I don't remember how long time it took by train from Kiel to Berlin, and we didn't care. We had been drunk since the ferry left Sweden and we spent a week in West Berlin dead drunk.
I brought water to school, but my Teacher had already bought water so we had more than enough of bottled water.
After 30 minutes of studies my Teacher asked if I wanted to go study at the cafe on
the second floor. She thought that I was looking tired.- Do you have a hangover?
- No I'm just tired.
- Maybe it's because you gave up nicotine yesterday.
Yeah, I gave up snus yesterday so now I chew nico gum like there is no tomorrow. Well, anyway, when we came down to the coffee shop on the second floor I ordered a pot of tea and 2 pieces of cake for us. We had been there for 30 minutes when my other Teacher came by. There was no students in her class since I changed school and she
could spent the last hour with us.When we finished class we left for a Korean restaurant. Walking to the Korean restaurant and we passed an Italian restaurant. We decided to have Italian for lunch, NOT GOOD FOR MY DIET!!!
Not good for my diet, but it's fun. My Teachers will come over next Saturday afternoon and they will show how to make sticky rice with
mango and that's something I'm looking forward to. Sticky rice with mango is one of my favourites so I will be busy taking notes so I can do it myself. They had never done it before, but they would check out how to do it before Saturday.Coming home from our lunch and I changed to gym clothes. I was off to my gym and it's really nice that's its Monday again and I can go back to my normal life. Well, there will be no “TUNA SURPRISES” for a few days. Now it will be “MEATBALL SURPRISES” for a day or two.
Tuesday 10 th of November 2009 and I just turned off my alarm when it went off at 08:30. So I didn't get out of bed until 9 o'clock. A quick cuppa and a “MEATBALL SURPRISES” and I was off to school in a taxi.
Today I had to go to afternoon class after morning school. So I walked to Soi 11 with my Teacher and she took the sky train back home and I continued to school. I left school at 2 o'clock because I had to go to Immigration. I will leave FUNKY TOWN on Sunday and I need a re-entry permit.
I don't know why they built a new Immigration Office without making it any better. Now you have to listen up for your number when they call you. And it can be hard to hear when they whisper your number. Now they are sitting in small office cubicles and the desks are gone.
I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes before it was my turn. The girl recognised me from the old Immigration office and she waied
me and asked how I was.- Quite OK, time to leave again, I said.
She took my passport and 1000 Bath. She waied
me again when I left and now I had to wait for my passport. I spent 30 minutes waiting for my re-entry permit. I walked around trying to alleviate the boredom.When I passed the office cubicles where they did the residency certificates I heard one of the girls. GIRL??!! Who the
do I try to fool? It was an old lady! She called me over.- Hey! You look very cool!
- Yeah, very nice shoes, her colleague filled in.
Well, it's never the young and beautiful girls calling me over. Well, that's life.
Wednesday 11 th of November 2009 and I was tired even though I managed to fall asleep just
after midnight yesterday. Coming to school with two bottles of water just to discover that my Teacher had bought water as well. Well, we have to make up a “Who is going to buy water” schedule.It was fun to study, OK, I spent most of the time pestering my Teacher, but I guess she liked it because she was laughing. Time turned quick as always when you have a good time. At 12 o'clock my other Teacher called and she asked if she could visit us.
- Of course, the more the merrier!
Well, my other Teacher arrived and I thought
that we would do some serious ass kickin' when I had 2 Teachers. But it turned out to be frolics and larks
instead. So we could as well go have lunch.- I want to eat junk food!
- What? I asked.- I'm bored by rice now!
- So what do you want to eat?
- Pizza.
-OK, let's go to Limoncello on Soi 11, I suggested.
My other Teacher she had a student coming to study at Mc Donald's at
1 o'clock so she could not join us. She has a private student for 2 hours and they do the studies at Mc Donald's across the street. Well, I and my other Teacher took the walk down to Soi 11.
Well, if I'm going to f@ck up my diet I can as well take a walk burning a few calories. And we have time, my Teacher have 2 hours until her next lesson.And they called me this morning to tell me that there was no time until next Monday to do my house book, so I also have plenty time. Well, actually not, I should be at the gym and I need to take a vaccination. But if I have to choose between the gym and to eat lunch with a beautiful girl...
Yeah, I choose the lunch and I can take my vaccination after lunch, so no problem.
Well, I went to the hospital for my 2nd Japanese something vaccination. The first Nurse
told me that I needed to come back in one year and I would have a lifelong protection. When I paid my bill there was another Nurse coming up to me:- This was the last shot, now you have lifelong protection.

I went to Emporium in the evening to buy a bottle of whiskey to my class mate that has the birthday party tomorrow. Last time he was at my place his wife had a glass of Glenmorangie. Well, at least I think it was Glenmorangie. I have been looking around and finally I found the bottle at Emporium.
I took a walk to Foodland from Emporium to buy some bananas and milk for my banana shakes. Better prepare if I will have a hangover the upcoming weekend. I stopped to buy some DVD movies, and again, better prepare if I will have a hangover the upcoming weekend. I got my movies in a plastic bag.
- I don't want a bag.

First time I have heard this in Thailand. So I guess all the commercials on radio and TV are paying off. Good! Otherwise they just gape at me when I don't want a plastic bag. Buy a bottle of milk and you get at least one plastic bag and 4 plastic straws. 65 million people living here and that ad up. We have Manila and the hurricane a month or so back in time. Manila was under water due to heavy rain. All the drains were clogged up with plastic garbage that they just throw where they stand or sit. Lack of education, but I hope the TV ads will help around here.
Thursday 12 th of November 2009 and I cut my hair in the shower with my
hair trimmer.
Getting out of the shower and it was too late to walk to school so I had to take a taxi.
My Teacher was a wee bit late due to traffic jam so I had time to go down to buy chewing gum without nicotine.I will try to start chewing gum without nicotine so I will hopefully
be nicotine free this upcoming weekend. Well, that's the plan. But this weekend has a great potential to turn out to be a disaster, so I don't know how it will end. Maybe I will try some snus after a little beer. Tonight its birthday party and tomorrow we will go to a concert.I will give the rest of my snus to my friend at the concert so after that
I'm out and I hope I can stay away from the fags.I will try to have diet drinks only tonight, but we never know.When I finished my morning school I took a quick walk
to my school on Soi 11. My class mate was busy talking to a Brazilian girl when I arrived. She just finished class at 1 o'clock and my class mate held her up for 20 minutes.It didn't take him long to discover that I had
missed a wee bit during my haircutthis morning and he was quick to take me camera.- This is a picture for the internet!
Our Teacher was soon tired of our frolics and larks. She
closed her book and she refused to continue the lessons until I had put down my camera. My class mate begged her to continue and I saw something that I thought was impossible.Our Teacher managed to drive
my class mate up the walls. Usually it's
the other way around.Well, nice with a change. But seriously, during our time at afternoon school we manage to study f@ck all.
I left afternoon school early and I made a stop
at Villa Market to buy some chicken for Saturday. My Teachers is coming over and I had planned to make chicken curry for them. Then a taxi back home, my class mate will pick me up quarter past 6and we will go to the birthday party on Rama III.
We spent almost one hour in the taxi going out to the restaurant on Rama III. Heavy traffic and
Rama III is always difficult. Well, we arrived to the micro brewery and my plan to drink diet drinks were soon down the drain.I mean, when I was asked what I liked to
drink diet drink was no option. So we ordered a beer tower of their own beer brand. If it was good? I don't know. I was chewing nico gum so everything I put in my mouth tasted strange. But, of course, it tasted excellent by the time I gotdrunk and nothing else was
expected.And I just have to mention that when I had a San Mig LIGHT Friday afternoon it tasted exactly the same so now we know the taste was due to my nico chew. But as mentioned, no problems as soon as you're drunk. And it usually doesn't take very long to get drunk.
Well, and if you get drunk, no problem around here. There even have a special sink if you need to throw up. And check out the sign below! The guy has his head down in the water, or is it puke? First time I see a puke sink at the restroom.

Well, it was a great party with plenty food and beer. Some of
the food were so spicy that it was impossible to eat. But the rest was delicious.Time to leave and I swung by RCA before going back home. Well, I don't know what time it was when I came back home. But for sure, RCA was fun as it always is during the weekdays. Weekends and it's just too much people around.
I went to the place I visited 2 weeks ago, but I didn't recognize the place. Maybe they redecorated the place in the last 2 weeks. Well, anyway, I was around at several places and it seems like they are redecorating all the time.
- Hmm, or maybe it's me being drunk.Friday 13 th of November 2009 and getting out of bed when my alarm went off wasn't all that easy. I called my Teacher and I told her that I would be a wee bit late. I made a banana and milk mix
and I returned to bed. I was 30 minutes late or something and we meet at the coffee shop on the second floor. I didn't feel like sitting in school so I called her and suggested the coffee shop.I ordered a pot of tea and, yeah, there wasn't much reading my books. I started but gave up after a few minutes. My hangover was not a very nice one.
My Teacher was reading out loud from a magazine and I was pretending that I understood. DARN!! This hangover is not nice and I wished I could throw myself in front of the sky train. One of my other Teachers came by 15 minutes past 12. Good, now we can spend the rest of the time pestering her. Lo and behold, my third Teacher came by a few minutes before 1 o'clock.
- Do you want to join us for lunch, they asked.
- I really wished I had the time. But I have an important business meeting, I said and I was back
home to bed
and a DVD movie.And I'm better off in bed. I need to be full of vim tonight. My friend called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to join them going to a MICRO or MICRA or whatever concert.
- What kind of music is that?
- Very good!
- OK, I'm in.
- It's the same place where we watched Kalabao some 10 years ago.

But not likely. 10 years seems, well, I'm pretty sure we're talking 12 or 13 years, but it seems to be a long time. But not around here, they never forget you.

Well, last time we were at the place I was dressed in Cyclops and snorkel and flippers. My friend
was wrapped in a huge flag and with the latest hip hop fashion around his neck. When we entered the TV cameras turned from the stage towards us. Embarrassing!Friday night and it's not very easy to find a taxi. The
first driver was happy to let me in to the car. I handed him the map to my friend's house.- I have forgotten my glasses, he said.
He got out of the car and he tried to read the map with
the help of the head lights and the security guard. He came back in to the car.- I cannot go there, it's too far away.
When I finally found a taxi it took us a wee bit more than
one hour to get to my friend's house. Most of the time was spent on Sukhumvit trying to reach the highway. When I arrived my friend's wife was getting ready and we took off in her car. My friend was the designated driver for tonight.And of course, me and his wife took the opportunity to have a
drink while he drove us to the place. His wife asked if I wanted some
wine, and wise from previous experienceI “said no thanks”.And also, my Teacher told me not to have any “HANGOVER” today when I left them yesterday, a good
reason to go easy on the wine. But my friend and his wife are running a company and they use to arrange “get togethers”
with their employees. And now, yeah, we remember the sport event 3
months ago. And my friend never fails to remind me about that evening.Well, anyway, Aladdin on wine is nothing you want to
expose you employees to. So let's try to keep this evening a nice one and stick to the beer. So we stopped at 7-11 and we bought 2 beers.When we arrived to the place we were almost alone, nice! But it didn't take long before the place was full. And by then it was never mind, I was already drunk.
But only tipsy, I know how to behave! 
started. And. well, I recognised a few old songs
and that was it. I'm more of a Pleng Isarn guy.But I was impressed that he managed to top the pause music. There was a half ass house band and we were happy when they got off the stage.
And the recorded music they played while waiting for MICRO was very good. So I told my friend that it would be hard for MICRO to be better than the recorded music. But they managed and it was pretty good.
the beer yesterday. No wine or vodka and I managed not to get disgracefully drunk.And today I have no snus in my fridge. When I woke up yesterday I
took a snus. But I gave my last snus to my friend yesterday so no more snus for me. OK, my nico chew went out yesterday when snus went in to my mouth. Luckily enough my friend only brought 1 tin of snus. I always used to bring 2. Well, anyway, his snus was finished in a jiff and I had
no urge for nicotine waking up this morning.My Teachers arrived just after 2 o'clock together with 2 kids.
And the kids were soon occupying my computersWe started the cooking, I'm in charge over the chicken curry and my Teacher did the sticky rice and mango. I had expected us to do the food and well, I would spend the rest of the day in bed.
But
obviously my Teachers had a different plan. A bottle of wine was opened before very soon. OK, then I has to have a beer. No wine for me!When we were finished with the eating one of my Teachers wanted to
swim and she had to borrow some clothes of me. And of course, I had no clothes in her size.I was lucky that there were no one in the pool.
I don't know if it would have been popular to drink wine in the pool if there would have been children around.But the neighbours were looking at us from the windows and, well, never mind. I'm out of here tomorrow and by the time I'm back they would have forgotten me.
And the Teachers were hungry as well, so they finished the last curry.We finished the wine and we were off to Ratchadapisek Soi 8. And after
2 bottles of vodka we were pretty drunk.And for sure, I don't remember what time I came back home. And my Teachers kids were sleeping in my apartment and I don't remember if we woke them up when we came back. I hope we didn't played music annoying my neighbours, but again, I'm out of here tomorrow.
look forward to leave FUNKY TOWN tonight. Coming back in January, yet another name change and I'm ready to start my new life again.And if I'm lucky I Miss “Most Beautiful in the world” are working tonight and I can spend the time waiting for my flight chatting with her.
Well, anyway, I'm off to Göteborg ! And it will be nice to leave FUNKY TOWN behind for a while.
