Tuesday 11 th of August 2015 and I got my wake-up call at 7 o'clock. Time to join Romø Mærsk again. I got e-mail from the Agent yesterday, maybe berthing in the afternoon. I had wrote to him that I was booked for an afternoon tour to Cape Point. If Romø Mærsk would berth he wouldAladdin's adventure on board M/T Romø Mærsk/ Romoe Maerskcome to pick me up in the evening.

Then the berthing was cancelled and when I was back yesterday evening they were alongside and I will join today. So I have to get up at 7 in the morning and the Agent will be here at 8 thirty to pick me up. It will be nice to come on board by now as there isn't anything else to do in Cape Town

I had my breakfast at the restaurant. As we're on a University campus there was the “BAMBA” over the place. But it was actually a very good breakfast. Home fried new potato with onion andBacon at Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodgesausage plus bacon. Seriously, the food here have been surprisingly good. But there is a down side, their pastries, not good for my diet.

I walked back to my room and I saw a van with the Inchcape Logo and I knew it was from our Agent. I tod the driver that I would go get my bags and we could be on our way. My bags were prepared and I only had to put my laptop in the bag and I was off. Off course, I had to stop at the reception to sign the bill.

First stop the immigration and then we would get down to Romø Mærsk that was loading in the port. It took us just a few minutes to get to the immigration and the paper work was pretty quick. There wereAladdin's adventure on board M/T Romø Mærsk/ Romoe Maerskplenty sailors from the Philippines and I had expected it to take quite long.

The Agent brought my passport to the immigration guy and he called me. I went up to the booth. I got a stamp in my pass port and we could take off to Romø Mærsk leaving all the Filipino sailors behind waiting at the immigration.

So, I'm ready to take a farewell of Cape Town, whale watching, FANTASTIC! The shark adventure, FANTASTIC! Game drive, DISAPPOINTMENT and nothing but a scam. As they say here, if you want to see wildlife you willAladdin's adventure on board M/T Romø Mærsk/ Romoe Maerskhave to go to Kruger Park or leave the country. My tour to Cape Point was good and the day spent on the CityYet another Smiley on www.aladdin.stSightseeing buses were great BUT COLD! Darn cold if you ask me.

Are you planning for a holiday in Cape Town? Please, let me give you a few pointers. Book all tours before leaving home. Whale watching, shark adventures and cape point etc. Penguins in Betty's Bay is a must! Chapman's Drive is another thing to do. And go in a private van. More flexible and you can stop where ever you want to stop. Not to mention the extra comfort of beeing alone in the car with the driver.

3350 Rand per day and you can be more than one. But the perk is that you can stop where ever you want and go where ever you want. Cost more but it is really worth it and can be the difference between a good and a bad visit to Cape Town. Otherwise here is not much to do around here, an hour at the Waterfront and Cape Town is soon getting boring.
