Well, the flag of Skåne, just a BONUS flag.
Thursday 29thof June 2017and I skipped the bird watching today. I was on the beach at 9 o'clock and the boat arrived a few minutes later. We arrived to the Turtle Point a few minuteslater. I jumped in to the water and I had a turtle swimming towards mewithin a few minutes.
The turtle had a damaged shell, a bit was missing from the right side on the back of the turtle. But the turtle didn't seem to be annoyed by this.
The turtle took some air and then back to the bottom to eat more seaweed. And as the sea was calmer today the visibility was better than yesterday.
I had a few pictures of the turtle before I continued towards the beach to look for more turtles. And it didn't take long before I found more turtles.
I was really happy that I had spent the extra money on my own boat. I could stay for as long as I wanted. I could hear the other boats honking their horns calling the passengers to come back tothe boat.
Imagine having to leave just as you're watching a turtle. I was just swimming about enjoying the turtles. I decided to leave after a few hours and next stop would be the lighthouse to feed the fishes.
We took off and we discovered strong current so it would have been impossible to do any snorkelling around the lighthouse. I threw in a slice of bread and the bread disappeared in the horizon very fast. So we continued towards a small island further west.
The bread floats away in the current
We arrived to the island and the water was clear and no current. We dropped our anchor and we stayed away from the 2 or 3 other boats anchored there. Luckily enough, only small boats and a very few people snorkelling. I started by squeezing a slice of bread to a ball and I held it down in the water. There were soon fishes eating from my hand.
We stop at another island
When I was ready with the fishes I took a tour around the site. I was soon on my way back to the fishes as feeding the fishes was the most fun to do around here. I still had one breadremaining to give the fishes. On my way back to get my bread and I discovered something purple on the bottom.
So I swam around trying to get some pictures. I discovered some clown fishes in the stuff growing around the purple thing.
Clown fish is maybe more knows as the Nero. I saw 2 purple things before coming back to the boat and my last bread for the fishes.
I swim around in the area, pretty boring

Can you see the clown fishes? At least 2 in this picture.
Back at the boat for my last bread
Time really turned quick while feeding the fishes. Before we finish for the day I want to make one more swim with the turtles as Turtle Point. It took us 10 to 15 minutes to get there and I didn't waste any time. I jumped right in to the water and I was soon seeing the turtle with the injured shell. Seems like the turtle have spent the day here eating seaweed.
It was a busy afternoon at the Turtle Point. I was following one turtle and I was concentrating on making the video. Last second and I discover that another turtle is almost swimming in to me. They are not bothered about me snorkelling around them, they only want their seaweed.
Back at Turtle Point
Last swim on Perhentian Island and I was happy with the snorkelling, turtles and fishes. One shark, but the fish was too quick for me even though I was chasing the shark with my camera. Now it is time to leave Perhentian Island. The boat will leave at 08:00 tomorrow morning and I expect to be in Genting Highlands in the afternoon. Yet another day on the Malaysians highways. ClickHEREto find out if we make it to Genting Highlands.
